I don't think Trump HAS any morals. He has chosen a specific demographic as his mark in a nationwide confidence game. Like all marks, the prerequisite is gullibility and as usual, the lesser educated more emotional people in America are the easiest to fool... *Some* of them actually do have morals, but if Trump appears to be sharing those morals it's only a trick to get them to trust him.

I think the reason why conservatives (if we can even call them "conservatives" anymore) are so comfortable with Trump is because they are so used to being fooled.

Counter charging is the action taken by those who fix their own lack of values and morals on their opponent. It allows them to "feel good" about themselves. Unfortunately, it's still remains a lie.

As opposed to when you blow love and kisses at the left? You're all right-wing extremists who are determined to destroy this country. I simply call a spade a spade. You've allowed Nationalism and Fascism to rear it's ugly head in this country once more when it is fully at odds with the principles this country was founded under. Because of it the white supremacists are once again emboldened and empowered all because of who you choose to be your leader.

And no, I am not calling you a white supremacist nor even your fearless leader a white supremacist but the hate he professes at his rallies and elsewhere plays right into the thinking of white supremacy and is making it a force the level it hasn't been in this country for decades. You can't have a leader of this country who openly denigrates people because of their religious values, the color of their skin, or their national origin. And while that level of thinking plays right into the conservative ideology it is past time for conservatism to grow up and if nothing else, follow the edicts of the religion you profess to believe in.

What happened to you, Peter, that you should despise yourself so much?

Where's the hate?

Counter charging is just countering a charge with your own charge - like you just did.

I believe the word you are looking for is "projection", which is what Trump supporters do every time they say liberals are motivated by a hatred toward Trump because Trump supporters (for the most part) are themselves driven by a hatred toward liberals (and gays, blacks, Mexicans, muslims, strong women, etc, etc...) The only difference is, the hatred toward Trump is caused by Trump's actions which makes it merit-based hatred, not the unjustified prejudice that motivates the alt-right.

So like you said, projections usually are based on lies.

I believe the psychobabble term, projection, is understood and taught beginning now in third grade to provide a venue for a lifetime of excuse making. One can sit amongst institutionalized mental patients, listen to their conversations and learn all the terms as they psychoanalyze each other. If language in the use of psychoanalysis terms is the cure, they have no need of a physician. They know all the lingo. I used the term "counter charges" intentionally. Projection is too benign and overused as well as giving equal value to Truth and make believe, to Truth and lie proven out by the remaining words in your projection example of Trump and those of us who support him.

BS, BS, more BS

We voted for him because he is Anti-Establishment.
We will vote for him again because he has kept his promises.

And, my portfolio is soaring and I'm on a vacation in a luxury resort on the Gulf Coast.
Fabulous, thank you Trump!
