Minnow, you are not the arbitrator of who has and who has not "footing." How can you effectivy use the word "hypocrisy" when your limited understanding comes predominantly from that which Progressive call values and morals. What they call morality is that which was once known and unconditionally believed, to be immoral.

You can't be moral if you are amoral padre. Trump doesn't preach morality at his rallies but they are among the most hateful and divisive events legally sanctioned in this country. You can't align yourself with someone who has shown themselves to be evil and then call yourself moral. It doesn't work that way. So don't lecture us on morals when you, yourself, can't adhere to your own moral center. Never did Christ preach that the end justified the means.

You can't have a leader of this country who openly denigrates people because of their religious values, the color of their skin, or their national origin. And while that level of thinking plays right into the conservative ideology it is past time for conservatism to grow up and if nothing else, follow the edicts of the religion you profess to believe in.

You align yourself with those who are conscious advocates and promoters of evil believing they are virtuous. Therefore, you too must either be unconsciously amoral or consciously immoral. I'm fair enough to allow you to choose which.

I shall continue to lecture on traditional American morals and values,(which you recognize as Judeo & Christian), and there is nothing you can do to stop me. Well do I realize I'm the cause of you occasionally grinding your teeth. You can always mark me ignored and if you do, I will accept that small victory. You're correct. Christ did not and could not teach or preach that the end justifies the means. In moral theology it's stated a bit more clearly than your example - "One cannot do evil so that which one perceives as the greater good may prevail." Where do we begin our next conversation? Would you prefer abortion or the progressives style compassionate morality in legitimizing homosexuality and same sex marriage, teaching they are normal natural and healthy? It would seem to me that your mob promotes evil so that evil may succeed IMHO.

I don't think Trump HAS any morals. He has chosen a specific demographic as his mark in a nationwide confidence game. Like all marks, the prerequisite is gullibility and as usual, the lesser educated more emotional people in America are the easiest to fool... *Some* of them actually do have morals, but if Trump appears to be sharing those morals it's only a trick to get them to trust him.

I think the reason why conservatives (if we can even call them "conservatives" anymore) are so comfortable with Trump is because they are so used to being fooled.
