The left can scream he's impeached forever, but the acquittal means not guilty.
This was a dog and pony show to start with, so people could talk about he's impeached into eternity.
I think the house of reps has turned into an old folks home with a lot of mentally ill people running it.

Most of America tuned out the impeachment. I guess some people will try and keep it alive and on page one. Good luck with that. Americans have always loved a winner! President Trump may be a lot of things good or bad depending on your politics. But most see him as a winner and will vote that way. D's are against what most Americans want. Like law and order, sanity in schools, more money in their pockets, fewer rules and regulations, fewer taxes, rebuilding infrastructure, and the only one achieving that is Trump. D's are delusional. They only know how to lie, cheat, steal, and kill.

Do you even know what the definition of "impeach" means?

Impeach: To make an accusation against....To bring formal charges against a public official.

All it means, fictionnotfact, is that Trump has been accused of something. People are accused (charged) with things all the time. It doesn't mean a darned thing unless one is convicted of what they were accused of. That's not going to happen, so the fact that he was accused of something, and then found not guilty of it is what is at issue here....not the word "impeached". It is not a big deal, and when you say it is a big deal, you look like a fool.

Presidential impeachments are a bit different from burglaries.

Tell that to Bill Clinton who will always be remembered for his impeachment.

Well, his shrinking base does anyway.

Excellent point, but you are still wrong. In a criminal trial this case would have been thrown out before it got to the jury. The legal point of evidence against Biden from his own mouth was more than enough justification for the phone call, plus Joe Biden was not and still is not the opponent of the President. Either of those legal points would have gotten any judge to throw it out.

But this was never about legalities. Impeachment and the Senate trial were always strictly political. If Democrats would have lined up the votes in the House and Senate they could legally Impeach and Remove the President from office just because of bad hair and nobody could stop them.

A million preorders for Bolton’s book already at Amazon.

I have news for you: Bill Clinton will always be remembered as the president who screwed an intern in the oval office.

Trump could give a rat’s ass about any Ukrainian corruption for fear of spotlighting his own. Trump has been afraid of Biden since even before he announced.

He will be found not guilty, hisory will record it as a totally partisan impeachment and there is nothing you can do about either one of those.

That may or may not be so, but as grounds for removal in office, Trump was legally justified in doing what he did. If Biden had committed murder, running for President would not shield him from investigation.

Conversely the FBI had far less justification in seeking FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. Biden made a taped confession, whereas the Steele Dossier was shown to be false.

Trump will crow about being totally exonerated, but being acquitted by a Senate which announced his acquittal before the “trial” even started, his claim is nowhere.

House began announcing his impeachment the night he was elected so his impeachment is nothing.
