People are screaming " I won't pay for some one else's healthcare "! What is the big deal? We already have Universal healthcare. People with no insurance go to hospital emergency rooms--They get treatment and don't pay their bill. Guess who pays for this.

If it could be accomplished without raising a person's taxes or sacrificing their level of care we would all be behind it...

Problem is the propaganda machine convincing people that hard working people are paying the price for all the lazy lowlifes and illegal aliens so they must resist.

You are correct, and the associated costs fall heavily on those who do pay plus the administration costs of collection.
I have lived for a time in several western countries with universal health care and although no system is perfect what we have in the US is vulture capitalist medicine on steroids. If tiny countries like New Zealand and Taiwan can provide affordable health care to all citizens then what is perpetrated on the ordinary working American family is nothing short of a crime.

No.. Problem is that when you pay for your own healthcare you get a better deal...

Name a single Nation with better healthcare than America... With the condition that the American individual receiving it has paid for it themselves...

Try a larger nation with a more diverse population...

Do not be confused with the term Medicare for All
This Democrat policy means another shell game. As it turns out, they will simply, and over a very long period of time Lower the age limits from 65, required to join the ranks of people on Medicare Part A and B.
Slowly but surely they will include people between the age of 65 and 18. This could take years while they rake in the profits of this endeavor Similar to what they have done with Social Security.
MAGA TRUMP 2020.

That is the problem. It cannot do that.

I have tried to point this out to people who point to smaller nations with universal healthcare. It is orders of magnitude more difficult in a country as large and populous and diverse as the US.

Do you really want the government in total control of your healthcare ?

Evidently you haven't been to the VA !

Why are there so many Canadian license plates in Rochester MN

It fails in Canada as well... More often than not...

And one can see the strain that the UK is under...

More and more of the European countries are feeling it as the "immigration" issue worsens...

I have only lived in the USA. When I first started working there were a lot of good jobs and the employer provided healthcare insurance. Those jobs have largely been replaced with lower paying jobs with no benefits.
Now days only those with enough income can afford health insurance. So to me that means something has to be done. A lot of states have an insurance plan-Oregon is one. It seems to me the people with the means can't understand why there are people without the means or they do not care. Maybe I am wrong but that is how I feel about it.

Evert body who pays- pays more to make up for those who don't When a 5 hour visit to a hospital becomes a $10000 bill something is out of hand.

I have used the VA several times and I have nothing to complain about. They gave me back the use of my left arm and removed a pre cancerous growth from my intestines. They are here when I need them.
