Trump continues to do what many consider unethical as a president, which is to use his family businesses for governmental meetings. For one reason aside from the obvious(profiting) there is the issue of security, now we have two incidents of possible espionage. This doesn't seem very smart to me. Here is the latest;
Snip~
Chinese espionage incidents are getting too numerous to ignore.Things went from bad to worse this week with news that over the weekend, a Chinese woman attempted to infiltrate Mar-a-Lago for apparently nefarious purposes. Arrested while attempting to gain access to the ‘southern White House,’ Yujing Zhang was carrying four cellphones, one laptop, one external hard drive and a thumb drive, while that last item, according to the Secret Service, contained ‘malicious malware.’ So far, Zhang has been charged with entering restricted property and making false statements to a Federal officer.

Zhang initially told a Federal agent that she wished to enter Mar-a-Lago to use the swimming pool, but later changed her story, claiming she had come from Shanghai to discuss US-Chinese economic relations with a member of the Trump family. She also made mention of a non-existent United Nations event. Zhang, who was carrying two Chinese passports, had been enticed to the presidential resort by ads run in Chinese-language social media by – you guessed it! – Cindy Yang.

Trump continues to do what many consider unethical... (show quote)

It is obvious, the only thing trump has the slightest interest in keeping secret are the Mueller report and his crooked financial dealings. Think about the crooked gig he has set up. When he stays at his own place all the staff and security go with him and he gouges taxpayers for whatever he wants for them to stay at his club and eat in his kitchen. This of course also deprives the local business community of the income they would normally earn from staff and secret service bookings. Not to mention the drain on the local coffers to pay for police and staff overtime every time he slithers into town. And the inconvenience in the community in terms of roadblocks and lockdowns.

Why would a plebeian be so concerned with such matters ?

It's beyond your scope of cognizance and way above your pay grade.

Besides, it's springtime.

You should be out enjoying life instead of wallowing in envy and posting juvenile rants on the internet.......... Mrs Goober.

The excuses "he doesn't know any better" and "he'll learn" ended by March 2017. What we have now is either willful ignorance, or plain old stupidity. The Congress bears a large does of responsibility for this, as they could stop the bulk of these................but they'd have to take their balls out of storage to do so.

They sold their "balls" to Mephistopheles, long before Trump arrived.

I'm afraid they're irretrievable.......... Goober.

Now that the Dems are in I hope some new bills are created addressing the unethical practices done when an immoral person is elected and takes advantage of all things possible.

I think the first two paragraphs of your article pretty much sum it up..

“Strange espionage events with a Chinese flavor are piling up at Mar-A-Lago, President Trump’s home-away-from-home. Awkward questions are now being raised about what’s really going on, including: are the White House’s real spy problems with Beijing rather than Moscow?

In Goldfinger, the British spy-turned-spy-novelist Ian Fleming gave the world the classic line, ‘Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it’s enemy action.’

A spy is a spy is a spy... Infiltration done by any means...

Look forward to seeing how this plays out..

I’m sure the left are salivating over it..

Now its Trump and China, yet this women was breaking into the home.. Would Appear she didn’t have permission to be on property and/or any invitation...

Trump using his position to use his business to facilitate government business is completely unethical but he gets away with it...somehow. I suppose since such unethical practices have never been done before, as it is not officially illegal, just unethical. Just as his family taking positions in the Whitehouse and privy to confidential matters. New Laws need to be made to protect our governing integrity, presently it's gone down the tubes.

Not to mention the cost to tax payers as Kevyn addressed and has a valid point.

Hell, I wish they would do anything country related rather than their continued obsession with ousting President Trump..Old and ineffective..

They should first get a handle on their own party between Pelosi and Cortez its a fight for who is really running the DNC..And get a true platform ..

As for your thread, another article for consideration..Trump paid for the visit of the Japanese Prime Minister and his Entourage...

I suspect Trump knows the laws on false enrichment...

Many other Presidents have used their private properties to entertain Dignitaries.

While hPresident Trumps action and using his properties may be an viewed as unethically he viewed by some you can bet if we couldn’t legally do it he wouldn’t be allowed to do it. You know how their left likes to go after him over everything and anything I’m sure they would’ve already done it here, don’t you think??

New bills are not needed~~Depending on what they tried to do it may well have to be an amendment??

Article I, section 9, of the Constitution states: “And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State.”

The clause applies to all who hold “office” in the United States government. The Office of Legal Counsel of the Department of Justice explicitly has declared in ruling on payments and gifts to past presidents that this includes the president. It would be ridiculous not to include him..

Perhaps President Trump does as is required and sought permission to invite dignitaries to his property???

He certainly isn’t hiding the fact he does so...I’m likewise sure he has filed financial disclosure forms with Congress and anyone else needed..

I know a lawsuit was recently filed over the issues drawn here. We’ll just have to wait and see what they decide..

The fact the man owns property all over the world and some 500 different businesses gives cause for concern no doubt...I just think being fully aware of the lies and obstruction he's experienced, he wouldn’t be handing something to the dems to crucify him over...

This is the moral of the new right, to behave in unethical practices as long as the end result is to get what you want, that's a very low bar one though very familiar to corporate America which is why Trump is perfectly comfortable with it and with a complete lack of moral consciousness.

The government practice should be held at a much higher bar of integrity in order to prevent it from it becoming corrupt. Now when we consider the lack of integrity that is rampant we need to invoke new laws.

Corporate people such as Murdock, the Koch's and Trump know have an entourage of lawyers working for them on what they can push to the limit that is not illegal, ethics be damned, not even a consideration, the only thing that is considered is that they GOT the upper hand and won. You may think working in a total lack of principle is OK as long as you get what you want, I do not, I believe in a country with moral principles.

We have witnessed what happens when one party controls every branch of government including the attorney general and judges dedicated to the president over their country, justice does not prevail, therefore since they have found ways around present laws, extensions of the laws or new ones need to be created in order to protect the integrity of our laws.

Trump needs to work within the limits, and yes even the POTUS has limits, of the working government protocol. The United States of America is not HIS private business or Corporation.
