Why should the White House put constraints on the FBI? Allowing them to only go by their list an not allow them a full investigation?

Please all civil replies welcome, personally, I now feel this is an unjust investigation, and an infringement of justice, Hello our new Trump world.

I think the obvious answer is that the White House is concerned that the FBI will find evidence of Kavanaugh's lies. Kavanaugh is a judicial Trump; both are constant liars. It's enough to make one ralph. Your question implies that something new is being done by the White House; I don't think you have been paying close enough attention for the last 18 months.

Why would they do that? It would help drain the swamp.

My question is to appeal to everyone with a reply. I have paid close attention that comment I'll let go as you are relatively new here. As far as something being new here, when have you ever in the history of the FBI, ever known the White House or Congress put ANY constraints on an investigation? I haven't known one, that is their job to investigate and that is inclusive to turning over every rock. It is bad enough they are only allowing one week, but to then put a leash on them is simply maneuvering for an unsuccessful outcome, which would be in their benefit. Again and again, this is the style of the New Right.

The Senate Judiciary Committee got exactly what they asked for:

A prompt investigation of Dr. Fords unsupported allegation.

All that will satisfy you is a Mueller type witch hunt that will hopefully keep Kennedy's seat open until 2021.

While your motive is understandable, your tactics are totally unacceptable.

If a person is under any cloud for a Supreme Court position, it is unfortunate but he should be passed over to another nominee selected, why is that so unreasonable, unless it is Trump's motive that is transparent, completely unacceptable...and understandable.

You clearly can't tell the difference between a cloud and a smoke screen.

Any "unapproved" person Trump nominates will be placed under a "cloud."

What I can tell is when someone is partisan or nonpartisan. As a Supreme Court Justice, you have to be a Non-Partisan Judge in order to enforce a fair and unbiased judgment. After Kavanaugh raving speech, he proved he is not and therefore should be again, be passed over. He can sit this one out and go have a beer.

Who is in sedition and anti-American is the New Right as they constantly denigrate the masses from the left-right to the far left. You tell someone to grow up as you call out childish names as Damo Rats...

The only reason for this FBI thing is to delay the vote. They, the DemoRATS, are willing to destroy a good decent man just to delay the vote until after the election. This is absolutely the most criminal action taken by a senate committee in my recollection. These people need to be dumped and a group elected that are honest.

I'm pretty sure it's a fact. This entire, embarrassing fiasco backs that up.

And, as I've said here before the last few days, I didn't see raving, or raging at all.
What I saw was a man full of righteous indignation standing up for himself, and his family in an extremely hostile environment.

That douche Lindsay Graham was absolutely correct in that this whole show is a disgraceful sham, and an embarrassment to our country perpetrated by the democrats.
