I know there are some people I would like to explain things to, some to forgive, and some to ask for forgiveness. And of course some I loved very much in this life and would enjoy being with again. It's a very lovely thought.

But since no one knows for certain what happens when we die, it seems to me that a better use of our energy is to focus on doing the best we can while we are here, be slow to condemn and fast to forgive, while we can experience the results.

But if there is decent bourbon in Heaven I am all in!

Only the righteous go to Heaven and right now it doesn't matter what your religious beliefs are. Both the righteous and the wicked come in all races, creeds, and colors. God chose his elect starting with Abraham and he believed in the living God. It was counted to him as righteousness. Salvation will end also with belief in the living God of Israel. Only those who believe will be saved and God will cut off all idolaters, the heathen, which will include Christians. Joel 3. It is called the valley of Jehoshaphat, meaning "God judges". It is also called "the valley of decision". Most of earth's inhabitants will not pass the test. At the resurrection, there will be about 100 million people left alive. Daniel 7:10. "...thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened". The Book of Life will contain the names of those who love and fear the God of Israel, the God of the Jews. Malachi 3:16.

Well that's one heck of a question !
Since my perception of life makes up all I know at this point,I would choose to say heaven exists. I don't think of it as a place to go-to or arrive at,but rather a fundamental state of knowledge.
.If you're mind, as imaginative as it is ,follows your heart and walks in time with your spirit, then heaven can be all around you.The ability to see through the adversity,and suffering,while focusing on the beauty can create a heaven of sorts.
You have free will. This is our gift.
Choose to create your own heaven, as you work through the trials of life. What you create ,is that which you become.
Heaven isn't free.I really think you have to work toward it.

Many of us do know for certain what happens when we die.

Some know and deny it.

Others don't have a clue.

That said... Doing good things in this life is a great start.
