Hopefully we can go to heaven and see our loved ones who passed before us. If we have to do it over, I don't want to come back here the way it's going. Maybe there's another planet out there that's working better and we can give that a try. I sorta believe in Heaven and hope I've done well enough to get there. Always sounded like a great place, to me. Meet you there?

Some people believe that heaven and hell are geographical locations. I believe they are a state of mind. The body "dies" the spirit lives forever. We are free to choose which ever state of mind we prefer. My choice is love and peace. Listing peace is unnecessary as without love there is no peace. Within love peace becomes automatic.

With your loss of Ozzy you are not now feeling peace because your thinking is backward. Remember you have been endowed with a memory. Use it to keep your love for Ozzy ongoing forever and you will develop the peace you deserve. Am wishing you the best sweetheart.

You should read "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis. One of the best (and very short...half a day read) allegories on the nature of reality and perception I've ever found. If he doesn't grab you at the preface I'll eat my hat.

I had a vision of my own death and there is a Heaven and a Hell. God created mankind because he was lonely and it is his purpose for all of us to enter Heaven when we die and live forever with him. The purpose of life is life itself. Everyone's body (soul) will die, nobody will escape this. The wicked will experience the death of the spirit, or the second death. Hell is a black hole. It is darkness, freezing cold, hyper-gravity, and a bottomless pit. Eventually your spirit will be extinguished and you will cease to exist. The righteous meek will inherit the earth and be resurrected with God and live on earth forever.

What you see after death depends on your choices in life. Specifically whether or not you accepted Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

If you did, you enjoy God's companionship for all of eternity. God being the culmination of all that is good. You see everything you want to see. Everything that gives you joy.

If you didn't, you deny yourself God's companionship for all of eternity. There is no good for you at that point, only the absence of good, which is the definition of evil. Pain, misery, despair, heartbreak, anger, resentment, misery. These are your companions for eternity.

Choose well now....

Anyone who responds to the Light they're given are given more Light. God knows everyone's hearts. He knows what people would do. He isn't bound by linear time which is a construct to help us understand our surroundings. If you've never heard the name Jesus I bet you'll have a conversation with Him in the eternity between the time your heart quits beating and your brain shuts down.

People like that will recognize Him.

I'm not familiar with the Jewish faith, but I have been told that God has a plan for Jews. I don't know what it is.

They're still His chosen and they'll be seeing Him in Person along with the rest of us pretty soon. They'll know Him this time.
