Not a believer in modern science I see.
"As Coppedge (1973) notes, even 1) postulating a primordial sea with every single component necessary for life, 2) speeding up the bonding rate so as to form different chemical combinations a trillion times more rapidly than hypothesized to have occurred, 3) allowing for a 4.6 billion- year-old earth and 4) using all atoms on the earth still leaves the probability of a single protein molecule being arranged by chance is 1 in 10,261.

Using the lowest estimate made before the discoveries of the past two decades raised the number several fold. Coppedge estimates the probability of 1 in 10119,879 is necessary to obtain the minimum set of the required estimate of 239 protein molecules for the smallest theoretical life form.

At this rate he estimates it would require 10119,831 years on the average to obtain a set of these proteins by naturalistic evolution (1973, pp. 110, 114). The number he obtained is 10119,831 greater than the current estimate for the age of the earth (4.6 billion years). In other words, this event is outside the range of probability. Natural selection cannot occur until an organism exists and is able to reproduce which requires that the first complex life form first exist as a functioning unit."

Do you have any idea when this fictional character of yours is returning? With the recent blood moons and the end times predicted I'm curious as to why we are all still here woofy.

Could it be you people believe in pure nonsense and the rest of us don't?

Matthew 20:

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Matthew 20:
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
****
There are other prophecies found in Daniel and Revelation. Daniel prophesied that in the end we would see a one world government, led by one man and one "religion" and that the government would be divided into ten zones. Each one with a leader of that zone who would answer to the one world leader.

Does the first part of this prophecy sound familiar? It can be found in the book of Daniel, written over 3000 years ago and confirmed by John in Revelation written 1000 years after Daniel's prophecy.

Another prophecy: Russia and Iran along with other countries in the surrounding area, would gather together and go against Israel. God will protect Israel, and little tiny Israel, with God along side of them, will defeat these armies. We know that Russia and Iran are allies now. And Russia is taking Ukraine. What's next?

Christ said when we see these things coming to pass, know that His return is imminent. He doesn't tell us when, because He wants us to live for Him by our own choice and love for Him. Not because we are afraid of being left behind.

Mr. Retired: Patty is correct. Please consider this.

Yes Aboyo. There is a prime fishing hole called " the lake of fire " and as I understand it, you will not need a boat. You can just walk right out and cast your line. Also there is a unique species of fish that once caught, are already thoroughly cooked and ready to eat. And I am told that these fish bear a strange resemblance to BoJester.

Is there any good fishing lakes in this new kingdom and will a boat be furnished or do I need to bring my own? I can't think of a better ever lasting existence than fishing 24/7/365.

BTW....Does this Kingdom have a website or brochure I could send off and get before the end times doom us all?

Thanks Woofy for all your help.

Retired669, though you may not believe what they do it serves no purpose(except possibly your own out of frustration you could to let go of for your own sake)) to mock them. It makes you no better than those mocking non Christians.
This post might as well be a congregational meeting.

You will never change their minds it is their "faith", you are attacking that and that is a lost cause, you must see that.

On the other hand anyone's line of thinking, that it is the responsibility of the president to speak in favor of "one" religion over another in America, is confused on why he cannot do that.

This is where we can begin...

I'm with you! I've been praying for some years now for these very things. But, noting your posted 9:00 AM time, I'll join you then, in the Spirit. Let us also remember to pray unceasingly for American citizen, Pastor Saeed in Iran, who has been incarcerated there now for some time, enduring many vicious beatings, privations, and tortures for his faith. AND REMEMBER: WE'RE NEXT!

Yes, I have been keeping up with Pastor Saeed's story. And no one in our gov't will help. God has a reason for this--perhaps many others are coming to Christ through his testimony. Here in America we are being attacked in many areas. And you are correct, it is just the beginning for us. Thank you for joining us in praying for our country, the persecuted, and Pastor Saeed. While we are at it, let's pray for the atheists/non-believers on this forum. For God's glory and Honor. Thank you Paul!

They aren't myths and fables. They are happening right before us. However, you said "No thanks." So unless you ask another question on this subject, you won't hear it directed to you again.

Your choice. :?

One day, you too will kneel before this "fictional character". Then it will be too late. Don't let your blindness cost you your soul.

True. We don't want anyone to lose their souls and be separated from God forever. Eternity without God = eternity with pure evil and torture. We don't want this to happen to anyone.

I don't believe those are words that would ever come from the mouth of Jesus.
These are words from a man, a follower of Christ, just a simple regular man, who may have missed some points that Jesus was preaching.

These words are ugly words, even if spoken metaphorically. I don't believe Jesus would ever compare people to dogs or swine, or hold back anything blessed to people who may be lost and in need most of all. Her lies the some of the inconsistencies in the Bible. Most Of what I have read in reference to Jesus was about love and forgiveness. Again though based on the teachings of simple man.
This is just my opinion, my perspective and I'm sure most here will disagree. Please try and refrain from insults if you can, thank you.

You haven't read your Bible I see. There are many harsh words and even destruction of unbelievers in both the new and old testament. Please don't tell others what to post. That kind of Stasi censorship has no place here and is offensive to my first amendment rights. Thanks

Jesus spoke in parables quite often. I believe this was similar. He wasn't calling anyone a dog or swine.
