Thanks for your "thumbs up". We need to get some kind of a pledge going. Something like "I pledge to approach 10 people to talk to about going to the polls." A little nudge never hurt anyone.. Maybe start with, "Are you happy with what the President has been able to accomplish"? How about showing your appreciation by going to the polls....especially if you're going to vote (R). LOL

I just did that at a friend's barbeque! More than 10, actually, and they all agreed with me and are going to vote. Some of them said they were not going to vote, but will now, just for me, and they said they would pass it on - they ARE happy with what Trump is accomplishing (all were Republicans...)

Perfect. I always think to myself what can I do to change or improve the narrative. Hey, in my opinion, this President has done more for this country and myself in 16 months than I can imagine any one man or woman doing. And if you feel that way like I do the least you can do is go out and "VOTE" in November. These are great, remarkable times for our country, in spite of what the left says. What is really fun is to watch the Left try bring new meaning to the word "SPIN" on all the great things this Pres. has done. They look like such fools, but as I found out they read the NY Times, the Post, and finish it off with a cup of CNN. Why don't you just sit down with a good copy of the 'communist manifesto'? The Democrats and the media couldn't wait to claim they had forced President Trump to cave, that lasted maybe an hour. Then they realized he didn't cave, instead of releasing everyone, like they wanted, they discovered the WHOLE family would be detained, but together. The ink had barely dried on that EO before the left sued President Trump claiming he had exceeded his authority and was disregarding the LAW, that would be the law they claimed didn't exist before he signed the EO. President Trump just exposed them all as liars and hypocrites. Remember he pointed to the law as the reason he had no choice but to detain these families and separate the children. The Democrats and the media LOUDLY proclaimed there was no such law, it was only his policy. Now that they don't like the content of the EO, THEY are claiming that very law they said didn't exist, can't be undermined. It would be funny if it wasn't hurting children, which the Democrats and the media care NOTHING about, they turned a blind eye all while Obama treated MORE children, worse than they are now treated.There is such a coordinated propaganda attack on the President that this glaring example of hypocrisy IS rich though.

Great analysis. I actually thought during the first hour that he HAD caved. I should have known better. He is the best, Can't wait until we just crush the Left in the midterms. Get out and VOTE. And EmilyD more barbeques.

That sounds hopeful for sure, Ricktloml, and I know Trump is more than capable to pull off the things you suggest. He did tweet that he would take care of this, and I think you and others who think he has an ace up his sleeve could be right. I guess we'll see. In 20 days, if these families are released into America with a court summons to report back to the authorities, I will be a bit disappointed, because that would be going back to catch and release. I hope not, and if it does happen that way, that it's only for a short time while he figures something else up. I do believe he will try and try and keep on trying until he can't any more. I hope it doesn't come to that. I hope he is strong enough to keep this very important promise to us.

When President Trump said he was going to sign an EO that would stop children being separated from their families, the Democrats, especially the media about wet themselves gloating they had forced President Trump to cave. Then they actually read the EO. When they found out the ENTIRE family would still be detained, but the children would be with their parents, they were ready to choke. It really is kind of funny. And in order to oppose the EO, they had to acknowledge that actually, there was a law in place long before Trump took office, which exposed them all as liars because all along they have been claiming there is no law, and President Trump was totally responsible for this policy. Now they either have to tell the truth, which is they want President Trump to ignore the law, or look like the hypocrites they are. It really is priceless.
