The Right will swallow hook, line, and sinker anything that Trump says--no matter how blatant the lie, no matter how toxic the policy

This is proven well beyond any reasonable doubt for over a year. Any sane person in a moment could google the evidence clearly showing the incredible (stupefying) falsehoods of the WH and Trump. Ah, but sanity is the bitch. The Right has this scale. On one side they put Sanity and on the other Partisan Ideology. No contest! And that is the few to even bother with this exercise in skullduggery, thinking of themselves to be open-minded. Sanity always loses. Twelve thumbs, so I heard, at least twelve thumbs come down for partisan ideology, and twenty-five for Trump.

Any links to this to back up your claims? I will read them. I really will. Unless you are an acclaimed journalist who has done major research, there's no reason to believe your post. But I will, if you provide legitimate links, and not just MSM rhetoric.

I don't usually call people foolish and correct them on blogs, but this is so funny that I have to. If you are going to promote a book, at least get the title correct.

You sound like you are having a bad night. (Sorry, I'm a grandmother and don't like it when i feel something's wrong. I want to bake a cookie and offer it to you. I can't google "evidence that clearly shows that the White House is lying". I've tried, but just don't know how to phrase the question that I want Google to clearly show me the incredible falsehoods that the MSM is portraying on the WH and Trump trying to show you and our Americans our reality. Do you? How do I ask that? I am ready and willing to learn this.

==========
(SOP )Standard Operating Procedures of the liberals/democrats are corruptions, fraud, lies, deceptions, dishonesty. Using the tens of millions of illegal aliens as their armies supporting their crimes, they prevail though deprived of the moral standards of life. This is how they live.

There are hundreds of millions of them who run this criminal system. These are the democrat-liberals in power, the Deep States, 31 million illegals including Muslim terrorists, and rapists, ANTIFA, BLM, MS13 gansters, Mexican Drug dealers, and criminals, free loaders, abortionist democrat-liberal women, LGBT, Athiests. These make up the strength of this very powerful Marxist satanic groups. And rumitoid is a paid member and defender.

About The Brookings Institution... https://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Brookings_Institution

The Brookings Institution, whose predecessor was founded in 1918 by Robert Brookings, was probably the first think tank in the USA. It was initially seen as a Democrat think-tank, but it has progressively moved to the right -- while simultaneously being more ecumenical in its choice of scholars. This makes it difficult to characterise; unlike most of the conservative and libertarian think-tanks which are openly partisan (despite declaring that they aren't).

On its website the organization traces its origins ..

"...to 1916, when a group of leading reformers founded the Institute for Government Research (IGR), the first private organization devoted to analyzing public policy issues at the national level. In 1922 and 1924, one of IGR's backers, Robert Somers Brookings (1850-1932), established two supporting sister organizations: the Institute of Economics and a graduate school bearing his name. In 1927, the three groups merged to form the Brookings Institution, thus honoring the businessman from St. Louis whose leadership shaped the earlier organizations."

Initially centrist, the Institution took its first step rightwards during the depression in response to the New Deal. In the 1960s, it was linked to the conservative wing of the Democratic party, backing Keynsian economics.

According to Paul Weyrich, the founder of a few dozen right-religious think-tanks (using Joseph Coors money), the drive to start the [[Mountain States Legal Foundation] and the Heritage Foundation in 1970 was to attempt to create research, policy and legal organisation for the conservatives that could be as influential in Washington DC as the Brookings Institution. [1]

However, from the mid-70s, Brookings began to cement a closer relationship with the Republican party. Since the 1990s it has taken steps further towards the right in parallel with the increasing influence of right-wing think tanks such as the Heritage Foundation.

If anyone takes a completely unbiased look at the present politics of the two main factions, and they are truly intelligent, they will quickly move to the right as they study. The politics of the left are anti-private rights and very strongly pro-government control of the populace.

For most intelligent former democrats, they feel as Ronald Reagan felt, "I didn't leave the democratic party, the democratic party left me."

Decades ago, the Communist Party USA decided to stop working to gain political ground in the USA, stating that the Democratic Party was on track to achieve all of their goals.

It's interesting that an 'unbiased' and 'truly intelligent' look seems to align very closely with your views. Yet I don't see your views as unbiased at all. Just as likening American conservatives to Nazis, likening American liberals to Communists is an epic failure of intelligence.

Interesting, yet bewildering take on my post, Trooper. If you read the initial link with any comprehension at all, you would notice that it aligns with (if not confirms) the original post's analysis of President Trump's being a serial liar. The second link provides documentation to the history and current status of the Brookings Institution's conservative history.

Trump, like almost all politicians, is a liar, but that does not change the fact that he was the best candidate of the three presented to us for the 2016 election. My belief that common sense or any modicum of intelligence would have resulted in all voters arriving at that same belief.

If you find a way to equally punish all political liars, including the leftist news media, I'd like to hear it. For now, our national politics are mostly based on who tells the most believable lies about what they can deliver to a very greedy bunch of lazy idiot voters.

For the most part, the majority of liberals are somewhere between mildly anti-Republic and extreme pro-communism in their thinking and hope to eventually have a government in the USA that closely resembles the governments of Cuba or Argentina. In their warped and uninformed little minds, they believe that there is some way to make communism work in the USA by taxing the middle class and upper class rich people more.

Those of the ignorant left just don't know that they are already the uninformed puppets of the rich that want a two class society best described as the super rich and the ignorant serfs, and that they are already considered nothing more than ignorant serfs by those wanting the supposedly Utopian "one world" socialist/communist government.

No disagreement here, WCS.
We're all Americans. Well, except for the Russians....and N. Koreans....and.....
Well, anyway, I'm a little disappointed that Airheadone hasn't called me a pedaphile (his spelling) lately. I never realized all of the horrible things I was till I started playing on the innerweb! I always thought I was a fairly decent individual, but apparently not.
That's OK with me though. I'm comfortable in my own skin. Well, except when it itches.

But, as a redneck, right wing whack job, I can do anything I set my mind to!
Top this, ya left wing lunatic!

Yeah, I let loose on airforceone in that discussion. That was just pitiful.

On a lighter note....you win. That looks even more dangerous than being a liberal on OPP. Yeee-haw....I do like the 'hold my beer' attitude...just don't expect it back full

This is daily news, if you are paying attention. Asking these questions is like doubting a neighbor who said it rained last night while you slept. Your patio is wet but what does that prove? Perhaps there was a dewtsunami. And your wet car may be suffering from what Hannity called, in response to the idea it rained last night, "vehicle sweating." As he said, "It is very common for any sort of vehicle to sweat. Everyone knows this to be true. To think rain is the liberal answer to a complex event. They always look for easy answers. If it rained last night when a Republican was elected mayor of this city, like the Left insists, they will use that to say God was disappointed."
