Trump IS trying to end this issue by doing what he is doing. With the "catch and release" program that Obama initiated, illegals found out that if they had children with them, they would not be detained at the border, and would just be handed a summons to appear in court in 2 or three months, which they knew they could ignore. So they "find" some children - I'm sure kidnapping is involved - and come to the border and drag the poor little humans with them for miles and miles through the desert so they can easily get into our country. Why doesn't this bother you? If word gets out that America automatically allows illegal border crossers with small children loose into America just because they have minor children, this would only further incentivize those who engage in the child abuse of dragging children along on the unbelievably dangerous trek across the border — or, even worse, both exploiting them for catch-and-release and then trafficking them after making it into the country.
