You're a fair hand at nit picking Slatt.

Every day you find some little insignificant tidbit to dwell on.

All the while the Trump train rolls on full steam ahead.

While you're focused on picking nits, the big picture escapes you.

Here's why Trump is probably not much concerned with you Goobers.

One could spend five minutes with one's hand in the bathroom to see if afterwards such an opinion.... wavers.

Considering what one posits (once again...) as the pertinent picture upon which one bases opinion, it might be concluded that one were using the wrong head with which to think upon the matter.

You missed it, he was speaking of there kids which are in the 50 range.
Do you know Trump has been thinking of running for 20 years? hummm

If, despite reading both articles repeatedly, I missed it...please cut 'n paste where Trump is quoted as saying it was the children of the Korean War Vets who requested their remains being brought home. I would appreciate it, as that would be understandable.

BTW, please don't cut 'n paste comments from readers of the article(s) who suggested he meant that. Just Trump's words, please.

I'm one of them because they say 'laughter is the best medicine'. And I find Kevyn's to be ridiculously hilarious. Kevyn and Moldy are always talking about his LIES. Name a few of them and don't say stupid things like he hasn't produced the wall. While you're at it, name a few of the 'campaign promises' he hasn't kept. He's kept his word and all of his supporters are fully aware of this. Here's a nice list of all the promises that the POS we had for 8 years couldn't keep, Keyvn. (I hope you're reading this.) You must be an old guy because your memory is really failing you, Kevyn. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/rulings/promise-broken/

Here's a list of all those promises your POS we had for 8 long years couldn't keep just to refresh your pathetic memory. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/rulings/promise-broken/ Name some specific lies. You're so far off the pavement but we expect it.

My goodness.... we do find things to keep us unhappy with the President. Perhaps those parents live in the magical land where they do not age.... one of those extra states obama spoke of.... and according to him, actually visited: "I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go.''

As you continue to search for these things, let me know if you come upon the facts of whether he prefers his toilet paper facing in or out.... I am sure we can find something wrong about either way.

Politicians misspeak all the time, Wolf. You know that, and you're the one who brought up 'nit-picking.'

Personally, I was more disappointed when Obama mispronounced 'corpsman.'

BTW, Wolf, how long are you and cold iron going to deflect from Trump's gaffes...particularly this one regarding Korean War Vet's parents
Politicians misspeak all the time, Wolf. You know... (show quote)

Answer: As long as you continue to deflect from eight years of Obammy's gaffes, the Clinton Pig's gaffes, the Mueller gaffes, and the gaffe you voted for.

"We," Pennylynn. I find it hard to believe you would jump on any chance to highlight President Trump's numerous gaffes.

I posted in a similar manner to which anyone can nit-pick with regards to many things politicians say. As I replied to Wolf, due to the number of speeches they are apt to give, all politicians misspeak on occasion...especially during a campaign. It is common for others to seize on opportunities to highlight those misspeaks/gaffes. BTW, I don't have to search beyond Trump's own tweets to find untruths, gaffes or outright lies. The evidence is abundant and overwhelmingly clear. Just pick 'n choose.

BTW, good to see you participating, as you are always a welcome addition to discussions.

Pray tell, Wolf, how was my bringing up Obama's most disappointing (IMO) gaffe of mispronouncing 'corpsman' a deflection

BTW, I remain proud to have voted for neither Trump nor Clinton.

And...you're still deflecting.

You know Wolf... there is just something wrong with some "Americans" when they take an earnest desire to do something good and find a flaw to harp on. I for one want those service men's remains returned along with those in Vietnam and Wake Island, from Germany, Spain, and all the other places they are buried.... return them so their grandchildren, grand nieces, or simply all Americans can have a sense of closure. I think President Trump's intent is noble. He may misspeak, his humor may be off in timing, or he may let his dreams of what we can be exceed what we are willing to be, but many of us agree.... He is exactly the man needed to clean up what politicians have messed up.

Here's a link to an article explaining RedState's take on that 57 state misspeak, with an excerpt from the article just below.

https://www.redstate.com/diary/socrates/2010/11/26/the-57-states-gaffe-was-no-joke/

'On one level, Obama simply misspoke, which we all do. He started to say “fifty states”, then realized that wasn’t accurate. He finished the sentence by what he thought was saying he’d been in forty-seven states, with one left to go to visit all lower 48. Yet he was too arrogant to think the crowd was laughing at him over missing one word out of the thousands he had already spoken.'

Let me know when you find the TP tweet.... this is a hot discussion in my household......

I am not as active on OPP as I once was.... a small stroke has taken longer than I expected to rebound from making it very tiring to read and type. But, each day sees improvements and before you know it, I will be back to my uncharming self.

I also "want those service men's remains returned along with those in Vietnam and Wake Island, from Germany, Spain, and all the other places they are buried....return them so their grandchildren, grand nieces, or simply all Americans can have a sense of closure." However, in some cases...such as Normandy, it may not be practical or feasible.

BTW, from an earlier response of mine to Wolf, Pennylynn: "For example, aiding in obtaining the release of the remains of Korean War Vets is admirable. But, taking it to hyperbolic extremes by claiming to having responded to speaking with "thousands" of those Vet's parents seeking their release is embarrassingly sad. If you read the articles, you would realize the average age of any living Korean War Vet's parents would be between 105 to 120 years of age."

But, in your post, you at least recognized that I am one of many proud Americans.

Actually, many times I have found you unusually charming and a contributor well worth reading.

I wish you a speedy recovery and anticipate your return to regular contributions.
