I just googled "how to make your own bullets" and it shows that more people than I imagined make their own bullets now. It's cheaper, too!

I do not reload but I have a relative who reloads for me. What happens if you cannot get the powder, tips and primers? Most people need those things to reload. Unless of course you want to go back to making your own black powder and casting your own lead bullets. No the scumbags can cut off the materials for reloading.

I found somewhat of what I was looking for. Please do not bash my source unless you are willing to cite a counter source. The gun control act of 1968 made purchasers of pistol and pistol capable ammunition sign paperwork so their was a record. Apparently the paperwork increase this caused was so massive that Congress abolished the requirement in 1982.
