HI all. My wife and I have always picked our pups from the Animal Humane Society in the past. We have tried to get them as young as possible. But the next time were not sure which way we want to go. We have one puppy left of the three we had after they passed from old age. Our remaining puppy Lady is about 13 or 14. Unfortunately ew thikm she may be getting senile. Seriously! Thank you all for your reponses!

Yes, dogs can, and do, become senile. We have found that few companies have a food with extra supliments for more cognative brain function. We are feeding Purina ProPlan Bright Mind food to our Corsos who are in that age range, and the Welsh, who is a young dog gets ProPlan Sensitive Skin as the breed does have skin troubles. No, I don't own stock in Purina, but they do seem to have a nice selection of types of feed and a LOT FEWER recalls than any other brands.
