I've been saying this since the day Trump arrived at the White House... with Pence next in line and Ryan after that, what we need is a regime change, so best wait for 2020 and hope enough people come to their senses by then. The Iran Nuclear Deal is a great example, being a non-binding agreement, Trump had the executive authority to pull the U.S. out. He can also replace the cabinet and rebuild agencies like the EPA. So far, Trump hasn't done that much that can't later on be made to look like a four-year error.

So all we have to worry about is the damage done in the meantime and that's other great thing about Trump's executive limitations. The president can't actually tell us what to do the way Congress can. Congress makes the law, the Executive Branch only enforces it. So Trump can't force any of us to do something without a law, which would have to come from OUTSIDE his executive privilege. This is why sanctuary cities can flip Trump the bird... legally! This is why California (which just recently surpassed the UK as the 5th largest economy in the world) can remain committed to the Paris Climate Accord despite Trumps limp-hand pull.

Nah, the best thing to do is keep Trump contained and that might be a lot easier after this November, let his economic policies kick in, so people can see where it leads and learn the lessons they must BEFORE we give them someone else to blame.

It's like I told my wife when the kids were going through their stupid stages... "Ya gotta let them make mistakes so they can learn".

1. he hasn't HAD the "historic" meeting yet...

2. There's no agenda for it so I don't know what makes it "historic" other than it being the first time a North Korean leader invited a U.S. president to a meeting. I guess we can lavish Trump with praise for accepting the invitation. Otherwise, the real issues... (end of war, unification, nuclear disarmament) these have already worked out with SK and with the help of China, all that's left for Trump to be involved with are the photo-ops. Sometimes, presidents just get lucky when good things happen on their watch because it makes them look good.

3. No, I don't give him ANY credit for bringing NOKO and SOKO together because I've been watching the whole thing unfold for about two years now and it's pretty clear where the credit goes. It goes to the Asian leaders that have been working for a long time toward this goal, not some Johnny-Come-Lately with a Twitter account and a belligerent attitude. Trump is no more deserving than I am for having expressed my own opinion about North Korea.

4. The 3 American hostages... As much as I hate Pompeo, I'll give him credit for negotiating the release of those three prisoners and because Trump sent him, I suppose Trump get's that credit. I can't help but assume that negotiations with North Korea are infinitely easier now that NK wants to integrate with the global markets than they have been in the past, so I won't make comparisons to previous administrations, but yes... it was good to see these Americans come home and I'll give Trump a smiley face for that one.

Actually, they do. A pretty stringent one at that and anyone can see it if they want, so you're basically lying.
