if you dare to forget momma and chase after the big bass and
forget her crappies. You will then find yourself as I have described.

well bahm
I'm back
from Sam Rayburn
was pretty hot by the time we got there Monday
so we hunted deep water brush piles and started crappie fishing
dam things were biting so good and most were big one that we just kept catching them
and kinda forgot about bass
got up early Tuesday and started casting for bass

no luck, just couldn't find em
so went back to the brush pile where we had had such good luck and loaded up with some more of them barn door crappie

left the lake at one oclock
were worn out for the trip back to Humble
had a blowout on the boat trailer
cost an hour more to get home
caught an estimated 65 crappie and one bass

although crappie are not my fav fishing
had a great time
and I am very grateful that the GOOD LORD allows me at my age to be able to enjoy the great outdoors

Question how did you guys far from that hurricane last year?
I just saw some pictures from my niece and her husband who live in the Houston Area.
They have two hoses one rental and the one they live in and they ere just finishing the drywall in their live in home.
Anyway it looks like momma is gonna be very very happy with you for all of those crappies.
They are fun to catch when they are big like that.

Fish go good with fried potatoes and baked beans kind of like a shore lunch.
You should eat those crappie they will make you a better fishermen because you will have fish in you.
