Mayo Clinic: NPDNarcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.
A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial affairs. People with narcissistic personality disorder may be generally unhappy and disappointed when they're not given the special favors or admiration they believe they deserve. They may find their relationships unfulfilling, and others may not enjoy being around them.
Treatment for narcissistic personality disorder centers around talk therapy (psychotherapy).
Symptoms
Signs and symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder and the severity of symptoms vary. People with the disorder can:
Have an exaggerated sense of self-importance
Have a sense of entitlement and require constant, excessive admiration
Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
Exaggerate achievements and talents
Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
Believe they are superior and can only associate with equally special people
Monopolize conversations and belittle or look down on people they perceive as inferior
Expect special favors and unquestioning compliance with their expectations
Take advantage of others to get what they want
Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
Be envious of others and believe others envy them
Behave in an arrogant or haughty manner, coming across as conceited, boastful and pretentious
Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office
At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they perceive as criticism, and they can:
Become impatient or angry when they don't receive special treatment
Have significant interpersonal problems and easily feel slighted
React with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make themselves appear superior
Have difficulty regulating emotions and behavior
Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change
Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection
Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation url=

I am amazed how you can talk about narcissistic personality disorder and not recognize how perfectly Trump fits the symptoms.
1 Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment by others. (The need for subordinate's to swear a loyalty oath.)
2 Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc. (His constant use of superlatives--said the most people ever to see an inauguration even though both of Obamas surpassed his, called himself a very stable genius even though he done nothing to demonstrate exceptional intelligence, said he graduated number one in his class even though he graduated closer to the middle of the pack and on and on...
3 Self-perception of being unique, superior, and associated with high-status people and institutions. (self evident)
4 Needing constant admiration from others. (self evident)
5 Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others. (thinks the DoJ is there to protect him and is pissed at Sessions for not using it for that purpose)
6 Exploitative of others to achieve personal gain. (Ripped of banks, vendors, contractors, and employees and didn't even blink an eye. Number 7 fits nicely here too as he had no clue what his actions did to others, nor did he care.)
7 Unwilling to empathize with others' feelings, wishes, or needs. (see number 6)
8 Intensely jealous of others and the belief that others are equally jealous of them. (Trumps obsession of his predecessor should make this self evident though I doubt seriously cons can see it.)
9 Pompous and arrogant demeanor. (Again, this one should be self evident...but imagine that you hang with criminals who value your arrogance as pluses rather than character flaws. Imagine that you believe that you are above the law and have been taped saying so. Imagine that you have conned enough of the American voters to obtain the highest political office in the face of documented incompetency and corruption running businesses. Imagine that in your first 100 days you manage to appoint a man who is a paid agent of a foreign power to the National Security Agency and the GOP refuses to impeach you, even though you spent a year insulting the GOP candidates and politicians in general. )
Everyone but your peeps would call that arrogant...)
