Post links to your "well covered" information and also to the laws that were broken by doing business with mob guys. Trump was in construction, it is controlled by mob guys.
For really entertaining reads spend some time looking at the history of Trump's forays into casinos, what he paid for money losing casinos, how much he had to borrow, his skirmishes with the city, the gaming commission, the mobster he couldn't keep out of the public view in the casinos, the fines, the bankruptcies, who he burned in them.
This guy didn't just file bankruptcies, he brought them to a high degree of an art form.
Buy a money losing entity for pennies on the dollar...
borrow hundreds of millions of dollars...
Divert large amounts of borrowed money to other corporations and personal assets...
operate in a manner that far more accounts receivables for goods and services are racked up than is being paid for...
stripping off more cash instead of paying vendors...
holding banks hostage by threatening defaults if they don't loan a few hundred million more...
pressuring banks to do a resettlement restructuring that works with the default position forcing them to write down the loan balance...
And the history of his six bankruptcies and more defaults shows that this was a business model. He bought one casino, borrowed hundreds of millions to renovate it, and went through all this in a very short period of time, to short for it not to have been the intent from day one.
I'll stick to respecting billionaires that run successful corporations, dozens of them.
