Those Who Support Trump Could Have A Whole Lot More Credibility For Not Being Blind...

...if they just called a spade a spade where his character is concerned.

The guy filled the media for years before he ran as president, and the news was not of the flattering type...

Trump University, you think he offered a great service? Do you think the stories about how he operated that gave credibility to fraud charges were fabricated by a deep state that was out to get him? He was a target for fraud allegations from the fact that he was not even a university and had no right to call his
school" such.

His casinos. following the story of his rapid escalation to bankruptcy, borrowing hundreds of millions that was stripped off while building accounts payable, is this the portrait of a competent businessman? Do you think the stories of his mob connections are also deep state fabrications by a mysterious entity that was out to get the great man even back then? Also when there were 200 violations of illegal involvement with known organized crime figures, how is it possible to not think he was in the organized crime relationship up to his eyeballs. The helicopters he used to go back and forth between Atlantic City and New York were owned by a mob boss.

Prior to his run for president, he and his sons made no bones about the fact that they were involved in a disproportionate amount of Russian backing and real estate sales. So how can supporters have any credibility if they can't at least say "so what?", as opposed to fake news, deep state is making this all up.

When you deny the things about Trump that were well covered in the media for at least a decade, and refuse to acknowledge that the guy is at the least "unsavory", you have no credibility for anything else you say as far as current events. The very worst of this is that the relentless rhetoric about ties with Russia and interference with our elections is also deep state fake news, is putting us at risk of cyber attacks that are not being dealt with.

Defend your president, but at least have the honor and decency to acknowledge what he is, it's a step toward not representing an entirely alternate universe where Trump is a decent and honorable man, that he is not.

Who is a sneaky absolute liar, everything I said about Trump is well covered, and I went with the light version. Is "he's not as bad as Hillary or Obama" an excuse for him being a slimy creep?

What kind of a "businessman" as a repeat way of doing business refuses to pay contractors according to their contracted prices, and uses attorneys to fight them when they try to get paid knowing that it isn't worth it to spend over a hundred grand trying to recover $30k? The man is a despicable bully who has stiffed hundreds if not thousands of honest hardworking small business people.

You had to have caught the story that was well publicized about the paint contractor who the Donald stiffed for $30k? It was a contract for over $200k worth of paint. Donald stiffed him for the last $30k, and fought him from trying to get his money. According to court documents Trump didn't even have a good reason for not paying it except to say "he thought the man had been paid enough". This was his defense. The judge, not finding this to be a reason to default on a contract ordered Trump to pay the man, at which point Trump continued to fire expensive litigation at the man trying to make him give it up. The judge having no sense of humor about Trump's idiotic refusal to pay up, granted the man a lien on a property worth in excess of a hundred million dollars (how stupid was this?), which Trump pushed to the point where a public sale was eminent. Trump had been ordered to pay the man's attorney fees making the award almost $300k.

So here we have an example of brilliant business skills, jeopardizing a property worth over a hundred million dollars over $30k.

As a small business owner I have been in positions where someone I did work for shorting me by tens of thousands of dollars could have put me out of business. He has stiffed thousands of people just like this, and a large number of the contractors who have sued Trump did so because they were in fact put out of business by him. It's a strange way to make america great again to stiff thousands of contractors.

His six bankruptcies have stiffed hundreds of contractors and suppliers for hundreds of millions of dollars. As a small business owner the idea of a POS like this stiffing small businesses for money is abhorrent.

As my post says, stop blindly following and saying everything said about Trump is all fake news that's made up to make a great man look bad. He is the worst of the worst, and nothing Hillary or Obama was supposed to have done changes who and what Trump is.

I see lots of accusations and not one iota of proof. Not one cite, not one link, not even from Salon or Mother Jones.
Sans proof, accusations are nothing more than unsupported opinions. Opinions are something that everyone possesses. Like something else that everyone possesses, they frequently stink.

Post links to your "well covered" information and also to the laws that were broken by doing business with mob guys. Trump was in construction, it is controlled by mob guys.

Even if Trump was everything you claim, even then, he would still stand head and shoulders above the Progressive offerings you people on the Left call candidates for office... or find serving. You don't seem to understand what's at play here. We want to continue in the direction he is taking the country... not get dragged where you want to go.

Trump has had a myriad of charges and fines for violations of casino violations concerning mob ties. Are you saying there is no proof of lawsuits against him for fraud, for refusing to honor contracts?

People don't settle class action lawsuits when there is nothing there, to the tune of $25 million.

Cabo condominiums that $32 million in deposits were taken and then not built were certainly figments of the imagination known as fraud.

Can it with the ridiculous defense for a sleaze bag of a fraudster and money launderer. Proof is coming, and you who defend him with the "not one bit of evidence is there" BS will switch gears to the "fake news, all BS made up by the deep state line of crap.

If "Trump is everything I claim" the fact that there are worse criminals out there does not excuse him for what he's done. Someone with as much to hide as Trump has is a true moron for putting himself in a position where he is under the FBI microscope. When it was apparent that presidents have to turn over their tax records he should have said "oops, I better not do this".

The FBI will be applying the world's best computer accounting software that catches anomalies to Trump's books for every corporate entity he has and matching them for everything including redundant use of expenses, not that Trump was very good at turning in receipts. He was rather well known for an array of unsubstantiated expenses. Also tax filings will be of major interest in regards to money laundering. He better hope he's properly claimed the profit from deals like the mansion he bought for $45 million and sold to the Russian oligarch for $95 million.

Just from the way the guy did business and filed taxes he's screwed, and there will be no free passes. Not even the president gets to cheat on taxes. Just the IRS and FBI going back seven years and doing his taxes right could break him.

Another serious threat to Trump comes from the way he likes to misrepresent property values. Super high values for loan purposes, fractions of that for tax purposes. Both ends can lead to prison.

Presidents do not have to turn over their tax returns; there is no such requirement.

The FBI has no grounds for accessing Trumps business records unless he is accused of a crime; he hasn't been legally accused of anything.

His tax filings have been scrupulously examined by the IRS every year and they have found nothing illegal.

Hate to break it to you but he has misrepresented no property values. There are three legitimate values for all real property, market value, tax value, and loan value. All three are almost always significantly different. Market value is determined by comparable sales; tax value is determined by the county assessor; loan value is determined by the lending institution's loan committee. Trump can claim any value he likes but the governing entities set the values mentioned. Anyone selling any property can set any selling price he wants. Whether it sells at that price or not is under the buyer's control.

Trump has always made sure he stayed within the bounds of the law. He has never been legally accused of criminal activity. You may not like how he does business but he doesn't need your approval and opinion isn't the law.
