Respectfully, i think you have to try to put yourself in the FBI’s position on this. I mean he’s a 17 year old kid, they are prone to doing stupid things and also saying stupid things. Most of the time it’s just posturing so I can understand how they might not have immediately picked him up and put him in prison! Lol. I do agree that 14 months seems like WAY to much time to spend on him and have this be the result.

A bill proposing the abolition of Washington’s death penalty has been voted out of a state Senate committee. The move reflects the latest — and what some lawmakers say is the strongest — push to replace capital punishment with life imprisonment without parole.

The chairman of the Law and Justice committee, state Sen. Jamie Pedersen, D-Seattle, voted with three other committee members Thursday to advance the bill. Pedersen has said the vote represents the first time any bill to ban the death penalty has made it out of a legislative committee in the five years he’s served in the Senate — and possibly ever.

Three Republicans, including Sen. Jan Angel, R-Port Orchard, and Sen. Mike Padden, R-Spokane Valley, the prior committee chair, voted no. Padden supported two amendments that were voted down. One would have retained the death penalty for the murder of a police or correctional officer; the other would have asked for a public referendum on whether to keep the sentence.

“Since this was passed by an initiative of the people, which I believe is a directive to us, this needs to go back to the people to ask them whether this law should stay in effect or whether it should be repealed,” Angel said after the committee meeting.

Just a quick little challenge. They, the Liberals, have just won important elections in Alabama, Texas and another state, Pennsylvania, if I am not mistaken. They were all close and the Democratic candidate won by his/her whiskers. I think, and I hope I am wrong, it appears that honest and decent people are getting lazy again and staying home. When their taxes, an erosion of our liberties and the flood of illegal immigrants continues to flood this country, they will have nobody to blame but themselves. To put this country on some semblance of honesty, integrity, obeying the law and honoring our Constitution will take time and it is an uphill battle that we must win for our nation. It is that serious.

The Liberals, Liebtards, or whatever you call them, keep on scratching, clawing and coming back until they get what they want. They want to destroy this nation, establish socialism, honor the few at the expense of the many, etc. The only thing I can say America is that you better well start waking up and smelling the coffee. Keep tanks filled with liquid manure from holding ponds on hog confinement farms and spray the offending demonistrators with the liquid hog manure. This would be inexpensive, environmentally safe, it would not injure anyone, the farmers would be happy to give it away and it would be good for the grass. WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN

The FBI is as abusive and fraudulent as any social program ever forced on the population. It's actually a LAW; lying to the FBI is a crime punishable by jail time. If one reads page 2 of the ACT it clearly states the FBI is allowed to lie to the public. So in all fairness, the blame for the abuse perpetrated against the citizens goes to Congress! DRAIN THE SWAMP POTUS!

And to that point, a great place to begin would be the defunding of the Patriot Act. Do that and DHS goes away. At the time simply close the many, fully manned, *off-shore* offices the FBI/DEA agencies operate.

Everyone talkin' but no one placing the blame where it should be placed. If everyone thinks it's the Muslims who are the problem, ask yourselves, how it is that they became the problem. Liberals are an easy scapegoat, however, somebody had to design and promote the policies that have allowed them (Muslims) and other interlopers to get into this county, in mass.

The situation the country finds itself in didn't just happen, it was designed to happen. Once you wrap your heads around that, perhaps something could be done to reverse course. Liberals are just useful fools for the ones orchestrating the demise of a once great country.
