Hillary wasn't the only person to be deceived by the polls showing that she could not lose the Presidential election. Even Vlad fell for the lie. Vlad's interference in the Presidential election was not to help Donald, but to sow hatred and distrust toward the overwhelming winner who was supposed to be Hillary. Vlad did not care who won, he only wanted the winner to be damaged. If he had thought that Trump would really win, he would have helped Hillary more. What he really wanted was America divided. He pretty much got that.

I find it funny that he even helped crazy Bernie. Mueller better be investigating Bernie-Putin collusion.

You're jumping to a false conclusion here. You're taking the fact that there were some Russians posting stuff on Facebook to show that the Russian government had instigated this 'interference'. There is nothing to suggest that. Just the same as when the Mueller investigators said that they were unable to measure the effects of this interference, many people jumped to the conclusion that there was no effect. That's not what they said either.

Interesting to note that there is one person who habitually interferes with elections worldwide and his name is not even being mentioned - George Soros. Now wouldn't it be an absolute hoot if the American and Russian governments were to engage in some hostile actions toward each other based on something that he (or any number of others) had financed?

I understand that Hillary's campaign manager Podesta is being asked why the Russians were smarter than he was. The Russians were active in the swing states while Hillary's campaign took them for granted. Not that it mattered. The Russian money was a drop in the bucket compared to what both candidates spent.

I understand the strategy. You do not care who wins. You just always damage the strongest candidate so that there is a disputed winner. Everybody knew that Hillary could not lose, that was why the Russians backed Sanders and then Trump. They wanted Hillary, just not an all politically powerful Hillary running America. They sure did not want a strong national defense, strong domestic energy President like Trump. I would expect them to be well behind the Democrats and their weak policies now that Trump is President.
