This is what I have noticed for years.
What the MSM ignores;
These mass murderers being on Pharmaceuticals/anti-depressants. The treatment of choice?
Ever watch all the side effects at the end of Big Pharma commercials?
This murderer was under treatment, then quit going.
What drugs did they have him on?
All the others also???

Good question/point. It seems obvious that what is being done is insufficient.

It's does seem obvious that anyone being treated for serious mental disorder via medications- which might be "mood changers" - should not have access to firearms and probably should not be free into the general population.

As I mentioned to crazy oldy-moldy, the diagnosis of that 'insanity' needs to be done and all treatments overseen by dedicated, qualified, responsible, reviewed, professionals. Not just any political hack or P-Oed relative should not be capable of getting anyone committed to a mental institution.

But you support trump allowing those with mental problems to have guns.

Do you really think we should accept biblical guidelines for disciplining children? If so let me refere you to Leviticus 20:9

For anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood is upon him.
Let's leave Mosaic law out of this, neither Jews nor Christians abide by that these days. Jesus took care of that when he said, "Think not that I come to abolish the law and the prophets, I come not to abolish, but to fulfill."

However, we might discuss the liberal mandate on murdering unborn babies. Who has their blood on their hands?

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee . . .
Jeremiah 1:5

Now, back to the Florida school shooter. How many red flags must be waved about a certain trouble maker before someone takes positive action? In the case of this killer, the flags were replaced by bright flashing red lights. How many people were alarmed? How many knew this guy was dangerous? Even the FBI was warned about him? This guy has been mentally ill his entire life. Yet, nothing was done about him. No one made a move to grab him and put him in a mental institution.

What Liberals cannot understand is that this sickness is not about the number of guns in America, or how many guns are available; it is not about how many citizens own guns, or the processes law abiding citizens must follow to purchase a gun, or how criminals acquire them. Liberals cannot understand that the gun is not the problem. The problem is moral decay, cultural corruption, societal erosion, educational failure, the destruction of the nuclear family, and this opens the doors to an incredibly huge range of difficulties in finding solutions. Gun control and more gun control never has and never will cure this sickness. If a mentally ill individual or a violent criminal wants a weapon, he will get one regardless or in spite of any laws on the books.

That's a lie. You made that up.

Now, back to the topic-- what are you proposing we do about those mental cases wandering about as free as a bird, searching the normal folks like a predator searched a prey herd?

Really? Show us what you base that on. What exactly has Trump done or said that allows "those with mental problems to have guns"? How about what he actually said:

"It is not enough to simply take actions that make us feel like we are making a difference, we must actually make that difference . . . . Answer hate with love; answer cruelty with kindness. We must also work together to create a culture in our country that embraces the dignity of life, that creates deep and meaningful human connections, and that turns classmates and colleagues into friends and neighbors."

The president cited 2 Kings 20:5 to comfort those in grief: "‘I have heard your prayer and seen your tears, I will heal you,’"

He specifically called attention to mental health and promised to meet with federal and state officials to discuss the problem.

Pharmaceuticals and drugs treat a symptom, they do not cure the disease. Seems the focus is always on the effects rather than the causes.

Trump is reasonable and uses logic, not raw emotion to address needs and problems.

What do these shootings have in common?? I would start with the parents who have coddled these brats. Then I would take a look at the school system that does not fully educate these kids, (Try to find a job if you can not spell, but you can read). A child that goes to church but only finds a rock & roll band in place of a cross.
