With the abundance of Texans on OPP, there must be at least a few from San Antonio.

I am seeking River Walk restaurant recommendations, preferably mid price range. Yes, I could do a search; however, a recommendation on somewhere you have personally had a good meal is what I am looking for.

Thank you for your gracious help.

My V E R Y favorite relative, cousin, is going to be in San Antonio for a week. I told him my online Texas friends would help find restaurants for him. The best part is this trip he is able to take his most delightful wife with him.

My neighbor is headed your way come Friday. She is taking her annual two weeks with her college friends. They have been taking an annual trip for a few decades.

I am not a Texan but I have dined at a very good restaurant that I am sure is along the River Walk,it’s called Mc Donald’s . Connoisseurs from around the world have a pet name when referring to this magical fine dining experience.....they call it Mickey Dees.I suppose that is some kind of code between the elite so people like me (the commoner)won’t wonder in and spoil the ambiance.....BTW it’s rather pricey but well worth the buck and a half for their finest round steak 🥩

Actually, when my cousin travels, he has breakfast at McDonalds. He says their oatmeal and fruit are relatively tasty.

Hmmm, as four of the five are nuns, it could be an issue. Somehow, I do not see her telling the nuns she is going to hookup with a gentleman she has never met.

She wouldn't have to inform them, and I certainly wouldn't. Nor do I object to first-time meetings.

Just under the bridge over the Mississippi River, 6 blocks down from Canal Street is a place called The Ugly Dog Saloon. Undoubtedly the very best Bar B Q and Cole Slaw you ever put in your watering mouth.
I Guarantee !

I thought you were seeking places in San Antonio, not New Orleans.

After seeing a video of a McDonald's employee and a manager refuse to serve a man who was apparently (and pretty obviously) homeless, I'm no longer likely to bring my business there. I only wish I had the link to share. They didn't admit to the reason for refusal; they quoted the sign that they "may refuse to serve anyone".

My wife and I are presently in Texas. A few years ago we went on the river walk/boat ride at San Antonio. Fortunately, we had friends that resided there and acted as our guide, we took in the places of interest. There was a restaurant that was within walking distance, where we had lunch. I don't recall the name, but I'll contact our friends and get the name of the place.

It's a little late in the evening now, but I'll attempt to get an answer for you tomorrow.
