Idsuttonjr says, “Life is like a chain...both strong and weak links! But in order to survive you must make decisions on the many uses for the chain!”

Now, how, if you have been brainwashed by people who want you to be bound by THEIR chains, and so indoctrinate you into a “make believe” world, are you ever going to break those chains unless you think rationally about it, and recognize what has been done to you?

“Now if you think your leaders brainwashed you into serving your Country in Korea?....Ask our many Founding Fathers and the 8000+ Korean MIAs who gave the supreme sacrifice!”

BTW, there were also about 40,000 KIAs (the supreme sacrifice), not just MIAs.

And who were these “leaders” who were ultimately responsible for brainwashing the young of both opposing armies who gave that “supreme sacrifice and how did they con those young men or force them by press ganging ( drafting ) them into “serving their country” by engaging in a conflict ½ a world away?

They were the same "leaders who got us into the Viet Nam debacle, and with the same lies and deceit.
And are still doing it with poor deluded "volunteers" like a friend's son who got in trouble and the judge told him if he joined the military he wouldn't be sent to jail.

And this too is a debacle that may be coming home to roost. You are showing just how well you have been hypnotized, my friend. I suggest that you "break your chains" and think fresh thoughts that are your own, not some propaganda you have been brainwashed with.

Welcome it really, with open arms. They even laud these 'messengers of misinformation' with an almost religious reverence. It makes me sick to see it. They expose their young children to this indoctrination and those children grow up with it in the background all through their lives, telling them what to think, how to act, who to vote for, you name it. These are the same people who will wonder aloud how it is that their government can be so publicly corrupt - and get away with it! Or worse, they won't even acknowledge it.

You point it out to them and you get this misdirection maneuver "Oh, yeah, well your (insert politician/policy here) is much worse!". See how that works? They deny what you said while pointing to an unrelated topic/person, thus diverting the topic in that direction instead. And most of the time they don't even know they're doing it because they've been indoctrinated from birth to think that way by that God-awful noise machine they call their television. In the meantime you're standing there with your mouth open wondering what just happened. Later on they'll tell their equally misinformed friends how they 'shut you up' with their superior logic and argument skills and they'll all celebrate another 'victory' together.

So yeah, by all means, tell them all, 'turn it off!'. After a while you'll be just as jaded as I am. Not so much 'bitter and twisted', just very disappointed that the message never seems to get through. Maybe it is a form of 'mass hypnotism', I generally consider it brainwashing. Just like this 'two-party' electoral system they promote. Ask any of them how many political parties exist in the United States and you'll get the same answer - Two. You mention the libertarian party of the Green party and you'll get a blank stare most of the time. Occasionally you'll get the dismissal 'yeah, but that just wasting your vote'.

Show them this, and you'll get stunned silence, or total rabid denial.

At my house we turned it off years ago and have only missed the car races. The rest is just nonsense for fools to waste their time with, and brainwash them.

Try it. TURN IT OFF!!! If you are reasonably intelligent you'll like it....TURN IT OFF!!!!!

It will feel good to become sane.

Just turn the TV off and it will all start coming together so much clearer. It did for me.

Suffering from a little PTSD my friend? As a Combat Veteran myself, I studied the Korean War (The Forgotten War!) It was a debacle because Douglas Mac Carther sent men into the conflict in Autumn gear and doubled the casualty rate! He should have been Court Martialed and probably hanged! His previous history as a leader was not much better....10000 men slaughtered under his incompetent command in one week trying to take a hill full of mashine-gun nest in WW 1. Prior to that His Horseman killed over 150 Veterans who refused to leave the Capital Grounds protesting lack of compensation for the Mexican - Spanish War! He was insulated! You make a good point....America has been run by a lot of SOBs...but the bottom-line.....they are our SOBs. As Americans we need to wake-up and put more energy in our politics; instead of watching Dancing with the Stars!!!!! Careerism and Politicians have killed too many Patriots!

Id, I can tell that you are not a KV (Korean War Veteran) or you would not pick General MacArthur (not Mac Carther ) to illustrate your point. His troops, including the Marines held him in great esteem. If he had not been held back by Truman we would have ended that conflict in the first few months. The “Frozen Chosan” was not Douglas' fault, although his Army people let us down by not keeping up during our attack north. That’s why we Marines always joked about the army wearing their track shoes so they could bug out. We did have winter gear.

"As Americans we need to wake-up and put more energy in our politics; instead of watching Dancing with the Stars!!!!! "

I think you are on something parralleling the right track with that statement, but how do you enforce the will of the people on politicians and fellow travelers who will kill you but you are not allowed to defend yourself. It is now so bad that if you are an old man who carries a cane when walking and a bunch of punks try to rob you and you use the cane to defend yourself, the cops will arrest you for assault with a deadly weapon, and let the punks go. In fact the cops might well arrest you for simply having a cane, unless you can prove you need it to walk. (Yes it is illegal to carry anything they can call a weapon, including a pointed pencil, here in wonderful California.)In a society that is that perverted, I doubt that your "politics" will avail.

As far as I can see they, the pols control all the big bad weapons, including the news propaganda media, the educational systems both lower and higher learning to destroy our students ability to think straight.

As well as having the courts, well armed police, armies, govt. and parapolice agencies to do their bidding. They have thrown out the constitution, in fact all law including the laws against torture. They make up laws as they see fit and are totally ruthless.

You think political baaaing by the sheep will control the wolves?

I don't think so.

WE NEED SOME NEW THINKING AND THE COURAGE TO PUT IT TO USE. Or your future and the future of your heirs will be a concentration camp and slavery.

Think (if you can) about it.
