I'm sure I've heard it, just don't recall that title. My mom got me hooked on gospel and country and western. We often went to all night singing's of both. She had a cousin who sang with the original Oakridge Quartet. I've saw Willie sing when he had short hair. Kissed by Loretta Lynn (must of been 5) Saw Ray Stevens the year 'I'm a long Tall Texan' came out or it may have 'Clyde the Camel'. She also worked at School Pictures and would bring home photos of movie stars and famous people. At one time I had 8x10 glossies of all my favorite movie and tv stars. My most precious story is meeting Tarzan (Johnny Weismiller), Little League coach took us to the airport as he was stopping over in our town. One kid on the team said "your not Tarzan", "your old". Tarzan said, yes I am, the tv shows you watch are old movies of me when I was younger. Dewight, the kid, then said "then do the Tarzan yell" and he did, it was awesome to a 8 or 9 year old. Better than meeting the president any day. If you enjoy good gospel, The Cathedrals with George Younce and Glen Payne are the best, bar none. I'm in a chatty mood today for some reason. Adios for now.

I grew up watching Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan, and would'a killed to have met him. Ray Stevens and Loretta Lynn would'a been a thrill, also. Gospel music is one of my favorite, and I recall my favorites being soloists Tennessee Ernie Ford and George Beverly Shea. Gospel music can be both soothing and uplifting. With the rest of my family, they like the Gaithers. Willie Nelson's home town is just a stone's throw from my hamlet. He was born and raised in West, Texas, just north of Waco about 25-30 miles. That is about 20 miles east of my home on Lake Whitney, Texas.
