The Democratic Party hasn't had a soul for years. It lost it with Roe vs. Wade. They are butchers.

"a party that has lost its soul and its way, failing to safeguard America’s national interest. This is a party that strives to cling to power" That's when I stopped reading. I left the Republican party but it wasn't due to this crap that doesn't happen. I left for their enabling obama, letting him get away with his genocides in Libya, through out Africa and the one he carried out at our southern border.
Were they gutless in standing up against him when violated the Constitution? Yes, every time. When he abused his power? Yes again. Not a week went by that magic negro wasn't doing something to trash this nation, it's people, or it's allies.

I have also never seen a Republican buy the party with money gained from defrauding people that a earthquake destroyed everything they owned cheating their way to a nomination I have never seen a Republican arm our enemies or leave Americans to die to cover that fact. I know of no Republican putting secrets out there for everyone to see to cover her pay for play treason. I know of no Republican giving 11 million pages of our nuclear secrets to the enemy or selling our uranium to an enemy. What some traitors will do to "cling to power" and fail to safeguard America but those people have a D after their name. Anyone that voted for that criminal is the enemy and what a better enemy to have than one as stupid as these idiots with their dumber than dirt stories.

LOL The truth in this article would be correct only if the word "Republican" be replaced with the word "Democrat".

Says the party that removed God from it's platform. I find this little puff post humorous and extremely hypocritical.

Your god should be in your church and in your heart, not your politics.

If only conservatives would use their brains instead of conserving them.

Well, your lack of America history is showing. The founders were, for the most part, all ministers and did lots of praying at there meetings.
Another fact you lack is, there is no separation of church and state, myth from the left. Show me ...

But the widespread existence in 18th-century America of a school of religious thought called Deism complicates the actual beliefs of the Founders. Drawing from the scientific and philosophical work of such figures as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Isaac Newton, and John Locke, Deists argued that human experience and rationality—rather than religious dogma and mystery—determine the validity of human beliefs. In his widely read The Age of Reason, Thomas Paine, the principal American exponent of Deism, called Christianity “a fable.” Paine, the protégé of Benjamin Franklin, denied “that the Almighty ever did communicate anything to man, by…speech,…language, or…vision.” Postulating a distant deity whom he called “Nature’s God” (a term also used in the Declaration of Independence), Paine declared in a “profession of faith”:

Thus, Deism inevitably subverted orthodox Christianity. Persons influenced by the movement had little reason to read the Bible, to pray, to attend church, or to participate in such rites as baptism, Holy Communion, and the laying on of hands (confirmation) by bishops. With the notable exceptions of Abigail Adams and Dolley Madison, Deism seems to have had little effect on women. For example, Martha Washington, the daughters of Thomas Jefferson, and Elizabeth Kortright Monroe and her daughters seem to have held orthodox Christian beliefs.
