There are some really good briefings on You Tube by Michael Schratt on UFO's and advanced man made aircraft.

Somebody should teach air force pilots of the US and several various countries how to fly their experimental air craft. And countries should realize the planet's UFOs aren't secrets anymore.

Your wisecracks remind me of that polar bear that was dying of starvation that they are making such a fuss over recently, not from "Climate Change" but from old age with no teeth that couldn't eat a seal if it had one. You can all believe what you want, but I have seen several in my life and my Brother has seen one, even though he didn't realize it for the last 60 years. He said he was down by the Lake, and a shadow went over him. He said he looked up and saw a flying wing some time in the late 50's. I asked him how much noise was it making and he said none that he heard, it was silent. It was then that he realized that it was a U.F.O. My first sighting was at the same Lake but in the middle of winter while a friend and I were ice skating on the lake. I am not sure how they do it, but I have what I call PTSD over that night. It seems that most of the time it's not in my waking memory. For years I have had a fear of going to sleep. I must have been slept deprived most of my life. Certain things will trigger that memory, like a clock ticking and dreams. The second incident with the same friend, he said the second time was when we were camping out in a little field across from his house. The third incident was in the late 90's when I was driving to Buffalo, N.Y. I was high on a hill heading north to Buffalo when I saw something over Niagra Falls in the clouds above it. It seemed the clouds parted a little and there were two shimmering objects near each other. I thought I was seeing things and pulled off to the side of the road and watched. They were there for a long time until the mist and clouds made them disappear from sight. I have been ridiculed most of my life talking about what I saw. But now I just laugh when I hear them say that there is no such thing, they are not real and Etc. Well, I am a believer because of what I saw was not of this Earth and if you ever saw what I did, you would be a believer also. I like the quote someone made, that U.F.O.s are more active in the summer months than the winter months. That's not true, there are a lot more people out watching the stars at night in warm summer nights than when it's freezing out.

you weren't abducted???

UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Objects. Kooks have made them to be flown by aliens and when that novelty petered out, people started seeing aliens. Then came alien abductions. Write what you want. It's all faked photos and gibberish from people seeking attention or are not right in the head.

Pa, I too have seen strange things in the sky do strange stuff. I also have to wonder about all of the cave and other drawings left by the ancients depicting ETs. Doesn't really matter to me one way or another but I agree that spending money trying to prove or dis-prove their existence is a waste. Hell if they do exist and can be that far ahead of us to do space travel we wouldn't have much of a chance if they had hostile intent towards us. Merry Christmas to you, yours and all OPPers. Mike

I was a UFO buff from the time I was in 8th grade and read Willy Otto-Oskar Ley, Isaac Asimov and the reports by Air Force Pilots of Foo Fighters, mysterious lights, strange aircraft of unrecognizable origin which followed their planes. I read accounts by commercial airline pilots claiming the same thing as well.

My initial enthusiasm has worn off, buried in the accounts of alien abductions, anal probes, attributing every development to alien intervention as well as aliens seeding us with their DNA to create the rational animal. It could very well be inundation with patently ridiculous claims to hide the reality that there are aliens but the waters are now so muddied that I am a sceptic.

Maybe just explore planets ready to be visited or uninhabited ones.

Most of you could have one parked in your front yard an still not believe its real. I have seen several in the past 60 years, so I know they are real. It was not just a light in the sky that I am talking about. Ezekial left this Earth in a Flaming Chariot, so what would you call that in today's world? Maybe a rocket ship or flying saucer. I do believe Jesus will return someday, but I hope he doesn't come back in a U.F.O. because someone will kill him before he gets a chance to exit it.

It is precisely this kind of speculation, which conflates religious imagery with what should be simple fact of observations that causes people like me to reject any evidence I have not personally gathered. As evidence, I don't mean unusual lights in the sky or glows in the dark in inaccesible areas. Those are simply unknowns to me, not proof of extraraterrestrial activity.

What Ezekial saw will never be known with certainty because the language did not possess the concepts or words to describe what we would call an unidentified Flying Object in any way we can interpret what was recorded as such. Further Our knowledge of UFO's is inadequate to say with any certainty that what he observed, was or was not a UFO. Von Danigen and the Ancient Alien kooks muddy the water to the point that I would have to personally fly the vehicle to Mars to be convinced.

Have you ever had people ridicule you for telling a lie when you know you told the truth? I have, I have been laughed at and ridiculed for over 60 years now, but I know the truth, so it doesn't bother me much. I just laugh at the people doing the ridiculing. I laugh the same way when I hear the Government agencies say it was swamp gas or if it was real, it would show up on the radar. Someone had to start all this shit down here on earth. I happen to believe that mankind today was born in a test tube. I believe the Bible is a history book of that period of time. When they screwed up a batch, they would wipe them off the face of the earth and make a new batch. I definitely believe in the Land of Mu and Land of Atlantis. When they both sank, they spread out to other lands. That's why there are so many similarities between the Egyptians and Incas and Mayans. Then look at the Pacific or Asian Countries. The similarities there. There is no telling what knowledge mankind has possessed and lost over the centuries. What if we were capable of using the full power of our brain? There are just too many unanswered questions.

I believe we have an excess of ignorance and a dearth of evidence. Similarities in artifacts between cultures is remarkable until we get over the blind spot that says the ancients were scarcely capable of doing anything other than cowering in caves and looking at the moon in fright. My children were amazed that Daniel Boone grew up in a home constructed, not with trees laid on edge, but ordinary box frame, wood slat siding and windows of glass. The interior walls were coated with smooth plaster over a coarse masonry bed. Hardly for a decent place for a man who grew up fighting "Bars". New archealogical finds have shown commerce and exploration going on in time eras the uninformed would say were impossible.

As far as the belief we are derived from test tubes, that is slightly more palatable than having a monkey for an Uncle. Belief without evidence is called unsubstantiated or Faith. You want to put your faith in some indifferent Alien Beings as the architects of man and his works, go for it. The rest of us prefer religion and an omniscient, omnipotent Being; I am certain that logic is on our side.
