There is no truth to the rumor that the drivers were on their cell phones. Since they likely do not have hands, all communication is hands free. There is also no truth to the rumor that most drivers were female. It has been determined all drivers were male or at least as far as we can tell. Most were lost, their GPSs did not work and they were too stubborn to ask for directions.

Your wisecracks remind me of that polar bear that was dying of starvation that they are making such a fuss over recently, not from "Climate Change" but from old age with no teeth that couldn't eat a seal if it had one. You can all believe what you want, but I have seen several in my life and my Brother has seen one, even though he didn't realize it for the last 60 years. He said he was down by the Lake, and a shadow went over him. He said he looked up and saw a flying wing some time in the late 50's. I asked him how much noise was it making and he said none that he heard, it was silent. It was then that he realized that it was a U.F.O. My first sighting was at the same Lake but in the middle of winter while a friend and I were ice skating on the lake. I am not sure how they do it, but I have what I call PTSD over that night. It seems that most of the time it's not in my waking memory. For years I have had a fear of going to sleep. I must have been slept deprived most of my life. Certain things will trigger that memory, like a clock ticking and dreams. The second incident with the same friend, he said the second time was when we were camping out in a little field across from his house. The third incident was in the late 90's when I was driving to Buffalo, N.Y. I was high on a hill heading north to Buffalo when I saw something over Niagra Falls in the clouds above it. It seemed the clouds parted a little and there were two shimmering objects near each other. I thought I was seeing things and pulled off to the side of the road and watched. They were there for a long time until the mist and clouds made them disappear from sight. I have been ridiculed most of my life talking about what I saw. But now I just laugh when I hear them say that there is no such thing, they are not real and Etc. Well, I am a believer because of what I saw was not of this Earth and if you ever saw what I did, you would be a believer also. I like the quote someone made, that U.F.O.s are more active in the summer months than the winter months. That's not true, there are a lot more people out watching the stars at night in warm summer nights than when it's freezing out.

You have highlighted the controversy: seeing is believing, not seeing is not believing in UFOs, whether crashed or flying.

All anyone has to think about is how fast we have advanced with our technically since the U.F. O. crash in N.M. I remember the Government telling us if there were U.F.O.'s, they would show up on Radar. I am sure if they can create their own gravity, travel faster than the speed of light, travel through different dimensions, I am sure they could figure up a way not to show up on our radar screens. I would have to say there is a lot of reverse engineering going on or we have a little help from some Aliens. Just think if Jesus came back to Earth in a flaming chariot,(U.F.O.) some nut would kill him before he got off the ship.

"I was high on a hill ..." , no disrespect intended but are you sure that was a hill you were high on?

To me it does not matter if UFOs exist. I have never seen one. I will not question what you saw. Lets say they exist. Obviously they do not want to be noticed and have the technology to keep it that way. My point is I don 't want tax money spent on it. Especially the way Sen. Reid did it.

My eternal argument is with people who feel you must believe them or else. Their proof is that you cannot absolutely prove them wrong. My counter argument is okay, I say there is an invisible Martian standing behind you ready to blast you with his ray gun. Prove me wrong. He is invisible so you cannot see him or prove he is not there.

Not exactly, they have been reported all around me in several of the places I have lived. I have never seen one but I wouldn't discount their existence, it is still possible some of these people have seen something that was alien.

The amount of stories about suppression of information around the Roswel NM sighting, lead one to wonder what the truth actually is. Phillip Corso's book, in which he claimed he disseminated advanced technology from the Roswel saucer crash, to various US industries for reverse Engineering and development, sounds plausible although many of his claimed bestowals have a long history of hard work in development science predating Roswel. He also alleged there was a filing cabinet full of additional items, which apparently he simply abandoned when he left the military.

Corso was a Colonel with experience in spook work as well as technology and he alleged that only he and the General, who gave him the assignment, knew what was in the filing cabinets of material from Roswel. An unlikely scenario at best.

There is so much bull from the Ancient Alien cabal on Television as well as all the conspiracy theories about Groom Lake that most people reject the whole idea as a pack of cranks. Basically, a saucer will have to land in my back yard before I will conclusively say there are aliens here.

I was a UFO buff from the time I was in 8th grade and read Willy Otto-Oskar Ley, Isaac Asimov and the reports by Air Force Pilots of Foo Fighters, mysterious lights, strange aircraft of unrecognizable origin which followed their planes. I read accounts by commercial airline pilots claiming the same thing as well.

My initial enthusiasm has worn off, buried in the accounts of alien abductions, anal probes, attributing every development to alien intervention as well as aliens seeding us with their DNA to create the rational animal. It could very well be inundation with patently ridiculous claims to hide the reality that there are aliens but the waters are now so muddied that I am a sceptic.

We humans have fertile minds, and I too was a fan of Scifi and Isaac A. and especially John Campbell, who usually wrote thoughtful editorials in ASF. I must admit that despite not seeing any UFOs, I have this deep wish that it were true, and we are on the verge of Contact! I also wish that the You Tube stories of reverse engineering UFOs were true. But, if wishes were autos, all beggars would ride, so I, too, have become a sceptic...but one with wishes.
