Did you ever read Franken's "Lying Liars and the Liars That Tell Them"? I got a completely free copy of that one from a New York lawyer who was at least as far left leaning as you. He didn't like the dislike I had for left leaners and procured my copy for me and although his legal firm paid the postage sent me my copy at the highest postage rate back then. I failed to read much of it that I agreed with but did find Franken a good jokester.
Other than providing the necessary 60th vote to pass Obamacare, what else did he do that we should be so excited about?

I was hoping to give you a nice list off the internet.... but my service provider is not providing much, it took nearly 15 min to connect with OPP.. After new year I am going to try a radio based internet that is now available..

the provider I have is the phone company and is the worst rip off in the nation..
but as for Al, besides his fine work for the ACA, he has championed the VA problems, Net neutrality, the iron workers along with congressman Nolan and Obama got the miners back to work.
From my view, he has done well on education, the environment, govt spending, tax reform, the infrastructure, consumer protection...
I would like to give specifics but until I am able to do a proper search, this is all I can do for now..
