You seem to have forgotten, presidents don't nominate candidates for congress. Citizens do that.
What 45 did do was to support and endorse Luther Strange. Nobody cared what the crazy man thought so Luther Strange lost to the twice removed and failed Judge Moore.
THEN Cheeto fell into line with the RNC and the ever so humble Steve Bannon and supported Moore.
Mr tRump managed to lose 2 elections in one. 45 is making his own problems.

It isn't even bad, it would have been so much worse if that man who would have been in a mental institution if we hadn't closed them all, that Moore lost. The Senate Republicans were very, very happy today.
