Moore's defeat.
Moore's defeat by the people of Alabama restores my faith that decency and democracy still rule this great nation. What does this mean politically?
I believe that Trump is losing the base of his support, if he can't get a Republican elected in one of the most Republican states in the union. If they believe that Moore was a pervert, how can they not believe the same of the Pussy grabber? This may mean that the Democrats are in a great position to take back both houses of the congress. If I were a Republican candidate , I would distance myself as far as I could from Trump.
It showed a whole lot of people that their votes do count. That is the best thing about this election.

You're desire to see America fundamentally transformed into something it was never meant to be is noted, unforgivable, but noted. You are a party apparatchik, not an American citizen. You've made it quite clear that you stand for the liberal anti-constitution agenda.
With the election of Jones in Alabama, liberal progs seem to think they have won a Super Sweepstakes, a political lottery, or some damned thing. This election did not oust an incumbent US senator, it just filled a seat that has been vacant for a year. It makes no difference who won that seat, repub or democrat, right or left, right or wrong, either way another clown joins the circus. Right after Jones is sworn in, Schumer will lead him by the ear into a back room where he will give him an indoctrination unlike anything he has ever encountered and one more political hack will wade into the corrupt swamp.
And the beat goes on.

It isn't the president's role to "nominate" any senator at all.
Trump did back Luthur Strange, and when Strange didn't make the cut he endorsed Moore.

Go ahead, huff-n-puff and blow that squeaker up beyond all reason until it, too, like Hillary's magnificent failure, blows up in your face.
How many times must that very same scenario play out until you get the message? The message that you and your mob of fascist huggers are all losers.

Maturin did ya ever think Roy Moore could be beat by a baby killer in Alabama?
Its Ok so we lost Alabama, its bad of course, but not the end of the world. We still have 49 more states to impress!!!
And he was a good Christian man.
proud, It's true that Trump did support Strange in the primary, he lost out in that choice, then he lost in his support for Moore in the general election. Not good for the Donald. I agree that Bannon is harmful to the GOP. If I were a Republican, I would speak out against him, and refute any support from him.

Bannon makes liberal/progressive democrats very uneasy.
Bannon makes the embedded swamp creatures in DC very uncomfortable.
Sure, numerous are those who would have him disappear.. silenced.
