Or they listened to trump when he said a vote for Moore is a vote for trump and they no longer want trump

Win , lose or draw .. Your attitude is exactly why you and the dem. party cannot be trusted . You can not even take a compliment from an opponent and act civil . Keep up the good work though because this attitude shows the true depth of your thinking and is a sure turn off to average Americans ..

It wasn't just laziness.

A lot of Republicans did not vote because there was no candidate up to their standards

There isn't one inside the Beltway up to mine. I still vote for whom I feel will do the least damage if not the most good. Alabama Republican non-voters have just provided us with a Senator who has never seen a gun control/confiscation law he did not support, never seen an amnesty bill he did not favor, enthusiastically supports transgenders in the military and abortion of babies capable of surviving outside the womb. There was only about a 35% turnout in Alabama, a state where Democrats are seriously outnumbered. That means that maybe 12% to 15% of Alabama Republicans got off their assess and voted. I suppose the rest sat at home in front of the TV and hollered "ROLL TIDE!"
For the next two years, the RINO's pretty much have operational control of the Senate. That means little or no action on many of Trump's promises as long as Mitch The Bitch" McConnell sits in the Speaker's chair. Thank you, Alabama Republican non-voters. I'll just bet ya'll's mommas are real proud 'bout right now.

Trump won Alabama by more than 30% of the vote. About 65% to about 35%. Try again.

This is true, but I think also true for Trump, I believe it was a record for people not voting in the presidential election due to people purposely not voting in protest, as possibly here in Alabama, people were disgusted with the choice... I know I was in the presidential.

The country went down the toilet when it was tanked under Bush, how soon we forget. From 2009 on it grew though slowly, that was due mostly from the obstruction on the right, in their effort to create a lame duck president.

Which is exactly why it’s used so much by the Dems..Can’t sin on credentials so the smear takes place..

The only problem with that is this time more Dems are accused of harassment than Republicans.. Last I saw it was 3 to 1..

You now have a representative in the Senate to continue your agenda. The allegations against Mr. Moore worked and I hope he, Mr. Moore, does not demand a recount. Less than a 2 percent puts the election very close.... We do not want a "Déjà Vu" of Stein (via Clinton) although a recount did put Al Franken's in the Senate....

Again, congratulations.

It's a sad day when we let the democrats MO win it for them again. When will we ever learn. They have pulled this same stunt over and over again and the people keep falling for it.

Not at all dissimilar to the reason Trump is in office now, though in reverse. Republicans in swing states voted and Democrats did not.

Indeed. Everything you say here about Doug Jones is true; a matter of the public record for any to see. He is, in short, a hard Left, Progressive Democrat whose efforts in keeping with the ideological objectives of his chosen party, have been to deconstruct our constitution; eliminate the individual through creation and empowerment of a central government. This is indisputable. So ...

It seems then not just a little ironic to believe that Republicans and conservatives generally did not support the right wing candidate in a demonstration of defense of the moral and ethical high ground they seem to claim as their own ... thus literally clearing the path for a Godless cretin with dead babies stuck between his teeth, so to speak, bent on destruction of all they hold dear ... to take the seat of power.

Makes me wonder if irony and stupidity are distant cousins ... or is it as you suggest, just more of the apathy that portends the downfall of our Republic?

Nor mine! You are exactly right, the country is pretty much screwed for the next 2 years. I totally understand what you say about the "ROLL TIDE" crowd. The other issue is the dumassed RINOs who "wrote in" their choice - can you say Richard Shelby? I think in addition to Shelby, there was over 22,000 1D10Ts who "wrote in" but I bet you dollars to donuts you can't find one of those 1D10Ts today who will own up to writing in their choice, except for maybe Shelby. If a candidate runs against RINO Shelby in a primary, I will support that candidate with my money and my time. (I wasn't aware that scum bag Shelby got elected as a dumocrap then switched sides to Republican, total RINO.) As a side note, if More is innocent of the allegations, he should have his day in court. Maybe Alred will defend the accusers "pro bono", if she can find them. LOL! My bet is they will crawl back into the sewer from which they came, same as Herman Cains accusers.
Hope you have a great day Loki, I plan to regardless of the election, yep - gonna be a nice day here in central Alabama.
