You now have a representative in the Senate to continue your agenda. The allegations against Mr. Moore worked and I hope he, Mr. Moore, does not demand a recount. Less than a 2 percent puts the election very close.... We do not want a "Déjà Vu" of Stein (via Clinton) although a recount did put Al Franken's in the Senate....

Again, congratulations.

Jones' margin of victory was less than one percent. Numerous polls showed that most Alabama Republican non-voters did not believe the accusations against Moore; they were just too damn lazy and complacent to get off their butts and vote. Jones is not in office because the outnumbered Democrats voted, he won because the far more numerous Republicans didn't.

The contest, I feel, was not strictly or maybe even not political. As to continuing an agenda, his election is more to question a steamrolling Republican agenda that rolls over the poor, disabled, children and elderly. Is the GOP Tax Plan representative of we the people or the oligarchy? Does killing tens of thousands on Obamacare offset minimal and decreasing returns of the non-existent "trickle down" effect. It has been tried in its purest form in Louisiana and Kansas: monumental failures. "Trickle Down Economics" is just code for filling the pockets of lobbyists and the Elite to get re-elected, from both parties.

Rumitoid,

Can you not be man enough to accept that I congratulated you on your party's win? And my sincere desire to not have to go through week after week of recounting all the votes? Do keep in mind that I said nothing either favorably or unfavorably about your party's agenda.... Seems that you need to argue with someone tonight. It would have been interesting to read your comments had Mr. Moore won....

It was a very dirty race. All I can say is I hope Jones is a clean as the Liberals think he is. Keep your eyes on any upcoming elections.... the accusations against Mr. Moore may have kept voters away and watch this tactic be employed over and over again against anyone the Liberals do not like or is a Republican.

It wasn't just laziness.

A lot of Republicans did not vote because there was no candidate up to their standards

Well said

Proving that we are not sore loosers is a show of good character. (Which you have plenty).
This is a 2 year appointment. If Jones proves to be worthy, he will win the next go around.
We want government to have a minimal effect on our Lives. That is why we rallied for Mr. Trump. Hopefully our numbers will grow with people like Mr Jones and his constituents, who have now seen the light.
GO Trump. Grow Change for America and drain that SWAMP

Rheumatoid, your arthritis is acting up, please get some meds from your doctor, if you can still find one under Ovomitcare since the docs who are old enough to retire and get out of ovomits illegal medical system passed as a tax are retiring. By the way, have you ever heard of "trickle up" economics?? Probably not since "po folks" don't produce jobs. Only those with money produce jobs so stick your leftist bullshit and smug sayings up your wazoo. I am sure you have never owned a company or employed a worker in your life time just as your hero, Ovomit never really worked a real job in his lifetime but lived off the government payroll. As an independent business owner, "Trickle down" is the only way the system works and my 58 employees benefitted greatly from the "trickle down" scientific application. Try owning a business, see a psychiatrist, and then get back to me on how bad leftist bullshit is.

My dear, this tactic isn't new for the Dems. They have been using it successfully now for some time. I do believe this is the first time a 40-year old charge has been used. Not only that, even when a trumped-up charge doesn't work, that doesn't stop them. Witness what we have been going through for the past year relative to the insanity of what our President has been dealing with and I see no end in sight for their shameful tactics. I don't think congratulations are in order.

Actually, it is the poor folk who DO produce jobs as, if they have money to spend, they do. How many yachts can one person find basin space for, after all?

Quackerwidow you have obviously missed the point, a businessman directly brings in new people into his company and immediately effects the economy, decreases unemployment, increases the tax base, gets poor folks of food stamps, increases self esteem, and gets more people off government independence which is a win/win. Poor people do not contribute as much to the economy as a gainfully employed person in the private sector.
