The people of Alabama do not want to be represented by extremely, radical idiots. The Republican party still owns Moore and will own him in the foreseeable future. There are some things that you can't unsee, and Moore is one. Here is hoping that whoever runs against Jones, solicits the endorsement of the Trump, if he's still in office.......guaranteed loser.
Which is cool. Trump supported the other guy in the primary. Evangelicals in Alabama hopefully learned a lesson. If they believed God for Trump in the general election why wouldn't they support the guy Trump backed in the primary?
I've heard that Trump has had a private intelligence firm working for him since well before the election because he knew he wouldn't be able to trust anyone else. I'm beginning to see a pattern that suggests that might be true.
Jones is going to have a bumpy ride in Alabama. I don't wish him harm but the reality is there will be a huge price for him to pay if he bucks the general will of Alabamans. He might be a sacrificial lamb, though.
