SUMMARY TO THIS THREAD:

This has been a hard thread for the resident liberals who came on here and shouted their atheism from the top of their computers, trying to tell us how smart they were, how dumb we believers are, and wanting to argue against God.

They tried every verbal trick, every obtuse word they could find in their Thesaurus. Loudly they argued over and over praising the nadir because they could not admit the zenith. Had they spent their time more productively reading the word of God instead of their Thesaurus they might have learned to open their minds and look upwards

Thanks to the believers here; the liberals (one after another) diatribes were shut down. As the pressure on their view points intensified they turned to ad-hominem attempts to camouflage what they could not prove.

Put more simply, they failed and one at a time they fled to more productive discussions.

Stated most simply they could not prove their blasphemies against God. For this they will have to answer to him, not us. I wish them good luck with that.

To you fellow believers who stood fast, I thank you... I really do think you are great folks and am glad to read your words.
I stand for our country, our flag and our military while I kneel at the foot of God.

A VICTORY OVER THE DARK FORCES OF LOGIC, REASON AND SCIENTIFIC ENDEAVOR such as this must not remain hidden on some obscure last page of an abandoned thread!*

A victory such as this should be touted, praised and carefully examined by all, from the elders of the community right down to the smallest child who can read these words.

It should be broken down and analyzed and every particle examined for both soundness of doctrine, purity of loving intent, effectiveness of witness for the Master in word and manner and absence of sinfulness such as guile, malice or hubris.

I think I'm about ready to start my Prosperity Doctrine Megachurch. Can I count on your tithes of support? After I donate all my worldly goods to that cause, I can pay myself a salary and all my income would be tax exempt, saving me a bundle!

Oh never mind, I've got to watch a sick baby so its Mama can work overtime for some groceries and Christmas cash.

If I were a vicious anti-theist instead of a nerdy little atheist with a big mouth and bigger words, (better words, I have all of the best and biggest words!) it might have been lovely to hang out and swap spit and friendly insults with you. Instead, the gentle spirit of conciliance was crushed by the weight of your antipathy. Your hatred and viciousnes are the antithesis of the spirit of the Christ you claim to emulate.

Congratulations, you've scored yourself another series of losses for Christ's sake! But remember nothing is ever really lost on the internet! So onwards into perpetuity your failure to provide a positive witness for Jesus here will be recorded for future generations of questioners and soft agnostics to peruse and use to cut their baby anti-theist teeth on.

Show me a photon. Pick up a blade of grass and show me an individual carbon atom. Prove to me where the primal mass that provided the fuel for the Big Bang came from.
God exists. Religions of all sorts are imperfect attempts to reduce the incomprehensible to graspable. At least, that's how they start. All that I am familiar with end up pushing an agenda of some sort.
This neither proves nor disproves the existence of God.
For thousands of years, people believed that the Sun revolved around the Earth.
For thousands of years, people believed that the world was composed of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.
For thousands of years people scoffed at the idea of atoms and molecules which couldn't be proven.
For thousands of years, people scoffed at the idea that disease is caused by micro organisms, rather than "bad humors" in the air.
There are those of us who believe that rather than deny the existence of God, it is more realistic to take the view that God exists, and is imperfectly understood. The inability to prove something's existence is certainly no impediment to that existence.
There is no guarantee that what most people think of as God is not simply a natural phenomenon we don't yet understand.
The same can be said for life after physical death; multiple incarnations, (for lack of a better word this early in the morning.) or another existence in some realm we cannot comprehend is a possibility. It may be part of the natural order that we just don't know about yet.
Five hundred years ago people did not think the amount of knowledge we possess today even existed in the universe, and yet that same impossible amount of knowledge is growing exponentially every year.
Don't limit yourself to the provable. Had humans done that, I would not be typing this and you would not be reading it because both depend on what, once upon a time were unprovable phenomenon of the natural world.

Last year, on the way to the supermarket, I observed the vehicle of a gentleman I truly dislike. One of the few people I know with no legitimate reason for existence that anyone has been able to descry. He had just rear ended a deputy sheriff's car at an intersection. I was still laughing when I arrived at the market.

One thing needs to be understood about those who claim to be die hard atheists. The fact is not that they do not believe in God, but that they do not want there to be a God. Therefore, no evidence will ever be accept by them to make them change their minds. Their pride will not allow them to believe they are not the supreme intellect of the universe. They are clearly spelled out in Romans 1.
