There are Extra-Terrestrials Among Us, and It Ain't What You Think.
There are no giant aliens or pyramids and spaceships in the ice of the Arctic, Antarctica or under the seas. There are no aliens secretly ensconced anywhere on earth. Area 51 is a human base for experimenting with aircraft advancement. This alien stuff is products of the imaginations of people who like to play jokes and build hoaxes. Farmers have demonstrated how to create crop circles. There are hundreds of accounts of people revealing how they created alien photographs. People who believe this alien malarkey are extremely gullible, suffering from mental illness or head injuries or are clinically psychotic.
At least people who believe all this alien goulash are harmless.

I'm a professional writer. When you write satire, you indicate by plot, word or turn of phrase that you are not serious and writing satire. Mark Twain for example.

So this means you are serious about the stuff you put in your comment.

You just missed the mark here that’s all..
You obviously do not know satire when you see it..
That’s ok, we with a sense of humor find people lethargic to satire rather comical too..
Lighten up and enjoy instead of making condensending comments ..

Then as a professional writer you are either mentally challenged, a pedant or a liar. The posting was clearly tongue-in-cheek and intended to be humor. As a writer you should be aware that it is sometimes incumbent, on the reader, to suspend his critical faculties and accept the premises of the writing, in order to apppreciate the content.

I don't think I missed the satire mark, but I'll stay aware that people are joking "straight-faced."
I enjoy dry humor as much as the next guy.
I wasn't trying to be condescending. Just qualifying my remarks.
It was a good joke and really sapped me!

I guess that straight faced satire in a forum setting can be hard to identify.. Reading much different than face to face..
You may not have meant to be condensending but it came out that way...
Nothing to continue, glad you liked the joke..
Loki is also a wonderful person to converse with..
