Once and for all, I would like to clear up the misconceptions surrounding the presence of so-called Reptilians in our midst.
While these creatures are real, and here, a source who wishes to remain anonymous has revealed to this writer the true nature of the phenomenon.
These creatures do not wish to conquer us, or eat us for lunch. We are too valuable. You see, on their home planet of Zorg! it is a fairly common practice for the more well-to-do families to send their progeny, (cleverly disguised as humans) to Earth to pursue a career as a lawyer or politician for a few years. The consensus is that such an internship provides invaluable on-the-job training for these young ones on how to conduct themselves as proper reptiles; and ensures that on return to their planet, they will be able to take their rightful place and function as contributing members of Zorg!ian society.
I do hope this clears up any misconceptions and poorly informed speculations.

How long is a year on their planet? I mean, is one of their years a decade on our planet?

I explained that it is too valuable as a training ground for proper reptilian behavior.

Only lawyers and politicians. In their exotic zoos, for educational purposes. Reptiles are interested in the life forms from which they evolved. (It is another common misconception that lawyers and politicians evolved from reptiles. It was actually the other way around.)

Another misconception leading to a misnomer. How the cesspool inside the Beltway became known as the "Swamp" remains a mystery.

That has the ring of truth about it. I have often heard our politicians being referred to as "Snakes in the grass"

The insight here is astounding! I always thought I could discern an Alligator Attitude in something approaching half the politicians and lawyers I have had contact with. Thanks Loki.

If you are a subway strap hanger you may have noticed some cars being darkened when you arrive at your station. Those cars were "harvested". Happy journey, enjoy your Russian Roulette daily commute..
