If you do then she probably will not require a very large pillow case .
After all you parents , this evening is not for political statements made
by wee little goblins . Just us big ones .

With the world series on tonight no one will answer the door for the little gremlins.

Do you still get trick or treaters? I haven't had any for several years now.

Do you live in a retirement community, like Sun City?

Same here it is a subdivision but almost all of the residents children are either grown or close to it and they don't trick or treat any more.

None in the 40 years I have lived here. Remote, Cul de Sac, few houses, very hilly, no sidewalks or street lights equates to no trick or treaters. I used to buy candy "in case" but I stopped that 25 years ago.

Yes. My Grand Daughter went off to College this year. Who shall I give my excess candy to? And I give out full sized candy bars I get at COSTCO. Snickers, Hersheys or Peanut Butter Cups, anyone?

I do have a ball game to watch at 7:30 but it isn't a baseball game. The Dodgers were my team from 1941 till 1957. What did they do that last year that took me away from them. Yeah, they went off and left the people of Brooklyn and I was 1500 miles from Brooklyn at the time. I haven't watched a lot of baseball on TV because I don't like seeing two guys playing catch with a batter and an umpire. More importantly I like to see the ball leave the bat and see where it is going.

Now college basketball is another thing and that is what I have to see tonight. I try not to miss any games the Jayhawks are playing. Of course, they have won 13 league championships in a row and probably will win this year to make it 14.

I really don't know which sport I preferred when I was playing but I do prefer college basketball these days. I coached high school BB for 19 years and that has been a monster of a reason I prefer the active sport.

I live in a retirement community . The only goblins we have are fellow seniors collecting canned or dry foods for my towns
food bank . I always fill a pretty good sized box for them . It is important for those who are struggling . There seems
to be many who are in need . Many young families included . Its a good thing . If you are in a community with a bank
you could get involved . Regardless of who is at fault hunger is a shame in any community . It does not take a saint .
Just someone with extra canned or dry goods . Have a great Halloween .
Just savin .

I know where my daughter lives in Cherry Valley they set the hours for trick or treating and then they post them and announce them on the radio so all will know the hours. They enforce the hours as well and people turn their lights out right on time and lock the doors.
