The bible, both the Hebrew or "old testament" and the new testament says Yes. They are messengers and protectors. I have no doubt that guardian angels do exist, but no just for Christians.

All I know for sure is that I should be dead, several times over. But I'm not. Some would call it luck, but I know better.

I'm spiritual and far from religious. Guardian angels are real and it won't cost you a penny to see if I'm right or not. The next time that you do a good deed that you think might deserve a blessing/good karma just say, "If there is a blessing associated with the deed I ask that it enrich the soul of my guardian angel's and not mine."
I'm not saying I'm superstitious, far from it. There seems to be some kind of weird force or relationship between your soul and your guardian angel that spans some other dimension.
Simply try what I've suggested and watch your relationship with your guardian angel blossom.
Oh, in case you're wondering, I don't go to church or own a Bible.

I was 'ejected thru the sunroof' or our Honda that flipped and rolled 4 times. Being in Claims 35 yrs most are dead or in wheel chairs paralized. An Angel was watching over me. Yes, they exist.

I think those who feel they have Guardian Angels should explain why they think they have them. Same as with Bombastic, I, too, should not have lived so long. However, I know why I have lived and succeeded, in spite of myself. It wasn't anything I had done, myself, to have acquired the angels, it was the constant praying of my mother, beseeching God to protect her wild young son.

My mother was devoutly religious, raised in the church, her father, my grandfather, a deacon for as long as he was able. Often, I would hear my mother talking; I would inquire from an adjoining room who she is talking to, her reply was always, " I'm just talking to myself." It took awhile, but I eventually figured out that she was talking to God.

It hasn't been that long ago that I figured some other things out, also. I've had life threating accidents, and medical conditions, in my lifetime. However, I've concluded, those incidents were deserving kicks in the ass from the almighty. Still, God wasn't going to disappoint my mother, I would not pay the ultimate price.

Often, in private moments, I'll think of my precious mother, the worry I caused her, and how I took everything she gave for granite, and I weep like a baby.

I know I have a guardian angle, at least one. A guardian angel send SWMBO to me, when I could have easily fallen into the drug culture I was aiming toward. Another guardian angel (or maybe the same one) was in the operating room during my double bypass, when I died twice on the table. Guess what, I am still here, annoying the "progressives" no end.

Hey Bomb, I had two guys shooting from a car both with shotguns from about seventy ft and I had a gun too but,... I heard someone say "don't shoot back, you won't be hit"...and then watched the confusion of the shooter's and driver immediately set in...a car and other things got shot up all around me and I was spared... thank God for Angeles...

When I was eighteen, I had a serious bike accident. I should have died. I wasn't wearing a helmt, clad only in shorts and a t-shirt. It was on a seldom traveled back road.

My first stroke of luck. I wound up in the other lane. Thank God there was no oncoming traffic.

Second stroke of luck. Although there were few homes along this road, I had my accident in front of the home of an off duty paramedic.

Third stroke of luck. He actually saw what happened.

Fourth stroke of luck. Although I suffered internal bleeding, due to a ruptured liver, I didn't hit my unprotected head and I didn't break any bones.

No one is that lucky. My angel was watching over me.

Some might ask why my angel didn't prevent the accident altogether. I look at this way. I believe it was God's way of telling me to slow down. And it worked. That accident was the result of the need for speed. I no longer feel the need.

Elvis concert June, 1976. Working a 2 man stakeout hoping to nab CB radio thieves a quarter mile away from the building where Elvis was performing. We watched 3 bad guys show up in a white Cadillac. They didn't waste time breaking into cars. We waited until they were nearly back to the Cadillac to try to nab them. I challenged them yelling, "police, freeze." The one closest to me quickly produced a pistol and said, "you freeze." A wild gun battle at close range. He got two shots off at me in that wide dark alley. I fired all 6 of mine. He ran, I chased. Less than 4 feet apart he stops, does a 180 pointing the at my chest. I think "I bought the farm." I hear a click that will forever echo in the memory book of my mind. A misfire.
