I would suggest that if you don't care for the edifice you speak of, don't visit it. To take it down according to you would be because you don't "feel" the same about it that others feel. I would venture that more of the Atlanta area residents and tourists enjoy the edifice than those who wish its destruction.
Hardly a reason to destroy history.
