I wonder if Stacey includes muslims in that statement? islam promotes slavery and the absolute overthrow of all governments to install sharia and islam. As for mountains with faces. Rushmore is not what you think. check it out. It is on Indian land by broken treaty. All of our treaties are broken. Deify past President or others on Mountains is not worth the effort to destroy them, they should be gone.

The very first slave owners in America were the Native Americans. The Iroquois Nation enslaved many other tribe members. Should we do away with all depictions of Native Americans now?

This has little to do with slave owners, it is simply removing statues of the defeated and humiliated traitorous enemies of our nation. They have no more place in our public squares than statues of Tojo, Hitler or Ho Chi Minn.
