It comes from radio amateur days when hams used to communicate usuing Morse code and having a good fist meant you could manipulate the key swiftly. Abbreviations abounded and 4Q was used in arguments, for shorthand and to avoid FCC problems.

Why are the Alt-right protesting the removal of the statue of Robert E Lee--because it is a symbol of Right-wing nationalism. What I would like to know is what relevant history we are learning from a statue in a park? Did Germany lose any of their history because there are no statues of Hitler and his Nazi cronies in their parks? Perhaps we should stop looking for history in our parks and start looking for it in our books...

wow ok then I guess we should start taking down all the other statues going forward too?

I can begin the names here if you like.

Imagine what's coming next Peter ?

I can agree with that Peter. But I just have a hunch a nother statue will be put in its place and it won't be good. I do not in any way support white/supremacist. And they had no right to terrorize as they did. But I guess they would think that the statue of Robert E Lee is a+ part of 'their" history.

It was written in the history book that Gen. Robert E. Lee was one of the greatest generals.

And Rommel was one of Germany's greatest generals. Still, I didn't see any statues to him in any of their parks. Why is that?

I don't condone what went on there. And never condone white nationalists/supremacist. But just as any other group of people, that is an important statue to them. Just as is Abe Lincoln is important to us or a mosque that's important to muslims. Or even a satanic statue (which is creepy) going up in a park in MN.

These nationalists got the permit to protest, everything was quite until buss loads of counter protesters came in all armed up. I guess I'm saying what is good for one is good for the other..

The 'white/supremacist' didn't start the 'terrorism', it was the busloads of paid antifa thugs, agitators, and criminals that were bussed in from goodness only knows where. It was quite peaceful until the Soros thugs arrived.

If it's true. I heard 90% of the rioters were from out of town.
