He must be a racist. People of color, at least the color and or ethnicity of Guamanian's isn't important.

The entire premise of this thread is that NK launches at Guam. Pete wants to wait until the missiles hit so he can decide how hard to hit back.

The launch is an act of war. At the same second we launch to shoot down the incoming, we also launch to take out Too Fat because I guarantee we always know exactly where he is.

End of story.

He doesn't understand that the leader of N. Korea is not rational. Petey unfortunately is not very bright.

Yeah, I think Pete is assuming that China will get involved if the missiles are dummies and will fire at us. I think what China is talking about is "a first strike." That doesn't mean waiting to see if they are dummies. If they strike first, they strike first. Of course, the second part of that is that China cannot necessarily be believed anyway about what they will do. The could pretend they thought we made the first strike or they could be misinformed about it. (The first is far more likely). We have to do what we have to do to protect our people. That means ALL the people, not just those other than the first group which was a calculated sacrifice. The thinking is illogical. As soon as they fire, it is an attack, even if the missiles are dummies.

Of course, it is in the news today that NK is rethinking their policy, and may be backing down. We will see.

I would realize that Guam is completely surrounded by land to air missiles and can foil any attempt by the little pansy to blow them up. Enough said!

What I'm told. Fortunately, I would agree with it this time!

Kim the Fat backed down. He just does not know what the hell to do, temper tantrum has taken away from him, not given to him as with prior administrations. His limited intellect just cannot handle it, and Fat Kim is sulking trying to figure out why he lost the exchange.

We are about to begin a joint exercise, Ulchi-Freedom Guardian, long planned for August 21-31.

There is still a strong possibilty that Un will react with some inflamatory response, as he has to past joint exercises.

I expect him to try to instigate some incident, then claiming U.S. provocation, he will launch limited strikes at U.S. assets,

most likely, aircraft or ships anywhere in the theater. Perhaps he will claim that a B-1 violated NK airspace and launch SAM's.

Pete's entire position reeks of someone who has never been in a fight. The idea that someone being attacked should wait to see how much damage they suffered before fighting back is utterly asinine.

When you decide to fight, you hold back nothing. You hit with everything you have. To try to meet force with equal force is the notion of an idiot.

As I've been telling Pete, if one is stupid enough to slap a gorilla, kiss their ass goodbye.

China is not run by insane fools.like NK is. They will not risk nuclear war for the sake of NK. Their potential losses cannot justify it.

I believe that Too Fat is suffering the shock of realizing the difference between Obama and Trump, and is now faced with extermination should he screw up. Reality can be brutal.

Fat kid is in re evaluate mode now. He may blather some, but he's going to wait until sometime on October to put his ugly face on any current broadcasts. In addition to the surface ships and the aircraft we have zipping around those waters, we have some VERY wicked powerful submarines nuclear and conventional warfare capable. Regardless, we'll see, won't we?

While they are more rational, you don't always know what someone else's agenda is. They did say they would get involved if we strike first. My point is they could be fooled into thinking we struck first, and maybe we did. There is always a hidden agenda behind these things that the general public does not know about. There is also a contingency of the international elite that want war and will go out of their way to create it. China may very well have an agenda of their own, and they may very well be pulling strings behind the curtain. The general population will never know. China has been very angry about some of our trade and financial policies. They have hated us for decades, at least the mainland has, especially since we supported the Chinese nationalists, (up to a point at least) during the Mao Tze Tung revolution. (Even though we helped them in WWII.) It is not a safe bet to say the Chinese will do nothing. If they felt they could have a decisive military advantage over us, there would be war. Also China has been very, very belligerent about the Islands they have created in the Pacific ocean away from their shores. They are not TOTALLY rational.

I do, however, agree with you up to a point.

I think so too, but lets hope they never gain a clear distinct military advantage.

Meanwhile, North Korea keeps on building nuclear armed ballistic missiles.
