I'm just saying that water that freezes expands and when it thaws it contracts . So if for the global warming freak that means that as the glaciers thaw which they aren't but if they were there would be less water by volume from the glacier as there was when the glacier was ice. Therefore as a glacier thaws there is less water by volume. Now if the glaciers are growing eventually there will be a rise in the ocean as the volume increases in the glacier.

You sound as if you think glaciers are 100% ocean-borne. That is not what science tells us. Most glaciers are on land.

I know but all glaciers eventually make their way to the ocean and there they break off and float out to see where they melt. That is where Al Gore got the idea that the seas will rise and all of that garbage came about. In reality even though the glaciers brake off and fall into the sea since they are ice when they melt instead of increasing the seas volume the seas will remain at roughly the same volume and neither increase nor decrease by any significant volume.

Also remember that evaporation occurs to generate rain and snow and the snow and rain form glaciers it is a constant process one that the good Lord above has it well in control and He is the one that created the earth and the weather and He controls it all.
