Yes ma'am. If more people would just deal with their abilities and desires in life and quit worrying about what others have or are doing, we would all be so much better off. I'm way smarter than my wife, by her admission, she spent four years in college where I did two. I had read the encyclopedia twice by 16. I was a avid reader. I devoured everything. I failed algerbra twice and yet do it in my head everyday cause I don't have to use the "Formulas". I went into boat repair early and construction later which I stayed with because I liked it. She used her college to advance up the ladder. I had opportunities to change fields several times but again, liked what I was doing.

I have never been jealous of what anyone has nor how they got it. Lucky me. I am concerned with what I do and have as it's up to me to be where I am in this world. I was in the position to provide for my family without my wife's monetary input but she was doing what she wanted and that is what was important. She never felt superior and I never felt inferior. We just felt lucky as neither of us had a pot to wee, wee in when we married. Lucky us. Mike

You just explained the American way in one post Mike. As long as I have family, friends, food in the tummy, warm dry bed to sleep in and a roof over my head I'm happy. Is it nice when I go out and splurge once in awhile? You bet. Our country is the very best country to live in for both women and men. I am with you on your post. I also did not graduate from college. At one time I was told I should go into the drafting field but sitting at a desk all day did not appeal to me. I finally went into the construction industry and served a apprenticeship and became an electrician. That led me to become a electrical contractor, which I really loved. I was happy there until an injury made me take retirement at 69. If I could have worked in that profession forever I would have been happy. When one loves what they do, it is more rewarding than what one would have gotten working in another field for more money.

Amen K, we are the luckiest people on earth. If you can't make it here, you won't make it anywhere. That is why so many want to come here but the govt. and especially the left do everything in it's power to keep people down with the handouts. Just enough for them to get by but never enough for them to get ahead. Get them early, keep them uneducated(this is a big one), throw the blame at the Republicans(some rightfully so). What really confuses me, is that beyond melinials(sp), people with intelligence, living a pretty good life, still vote for democrats who if given the chance will make a shithole out of paradise. Ya know Mike. In light of all that We've learned, I really don't think the intelligent people are voting Democrat. I think they stay in power year after year by voter fraud. I'm sure they have their base, but could that many "intelligent" people actually be that stupid?

I'm pretty sure you are right, how else to explain it. But then again I know a lot of people who vote dim. just because their parents and grandparents did. I can destroy why they shouldn't and how it would benefit them not to but still can't convince them to change. I'm dumbfounded. Mike

Your wrong, I have friends from England, both collage grads, both see what their home country has sunk to, it was called GREAT BRITON, the sun never seats on the Empire. Well, it's so Great anymore is it,?? Muslims govern 7 or more big city in England! They can not protect themselves, not ever with a knife or pepper spray, much less a gun.
