I have on question for all of you on this site. Why aren't the other Muslim countries taking in these refugees? I believe it suits their agenda to control the world, with the Muslims known agenda, of destroying the Western World. I wonder if there are others on this site that believe the same way?

Yes, well I do.

I hear ya. Then they get pissed at the townspeople that vote against their cemetery in town. Either assimilate to our country or get the hell out. You've come to one of the freest countries in the world. They do not appreciate it whatsoever. This is Our house NOT theirs....

Desperado is a nutcase. When I lived in England it was great except for the parts of London inhabited by the foreigners. That was trashed! When I returned for a visit a few yeas later, even our little village was unrecognizable. We loved Scotland, Italy, and France, but I do not wish to return and see the destruction. Why didn't those people fight back against the Muslim invasion and the People's Leaders like Merkel. Guess they can't fight without American help a la WWII. For the common people, it's a tragedy! And how does Desparado know who will be benefited by that large donation. But that's another story.

China is overpopulated and has huge human rights violations. We could take 100 million Chinese into America and not even put a dent into their population. All in favor of helping the poor persecuted Chinese hold up your hands. They could take over New York's Chinatown and San Francisco's too.

No thanks, in the 80's we used to go to Chinatown in NYC frequently. Had to give that up because the Chinese Gangs fought turf wars in the streets, which were more like alleys, and in the restaurants. Automatic rifles fired through crowds of tourists. A couple of instances like that and I never returned.

A band of extremists have rented a boat to physically prevent rescuers from saving desperate, drowning migrants in the Mediterranean. But on Saturday we can shut down the port they need to refuel -- if we join the small town's mayor in pressuring the port authority. Add your name and we'll deliver this urgent message directly, and stop these people hunters:
SIGN THE PETITION

Dear friends,

A band of far-right extremists have launched a ship to physically stop rescuers from saving desperate refugees in the Mediterranean.

It's a truly disgusting new low. But on Saturday, they plan to dock in Catania, Italy to refuel and stock supplies. We can stop these people hunters -- by shutting down the port!

The mayor of Catania is with us but says he needs public support to get the port authority on board. Sign now, and we'll deliver our message directly to port officials -- and shut down this unhuman mission:

Catania: say NO to the people hunters

The small group of anti-Islam, anti-migrant "activists" plan to cruise the Mediterranean, "report" on humanitarian NGOs preventing migrants from drowning, and drive boats back to the African coast.

There's still a long way to go to have a safe, sane policy that works for Europe and also gives desperate migrants a chance at a better life. But this dangerous pirate "stunt" isn't it -- it's a cynical attempt to bypass legal measures and win celebrity for an openly racist cause.

That's why it's critical to shut them down -- so their hateful agenda gets no traction. And by closing the port of Catania we can do it. It's just one small town, but it's the centre of the humanitarian response to refugees. If we prevent these sickos from docking, they'll spend days trying to find other suitable ports -- and we can meet them at one port after another to stop them.

Add your name -- and let's make sure there's no safe harbour for these people hunters:

Catania: say NO to the people hunters
We've always shown up to calls for urgent action for refugees -- donated millions to campaign, aid, rescue, and legal assistance, and Avaazers across Europe have even volunteered to host refugees in their communities. Now we can show up again and make sure we put a stop to this height of human cruelty.

With hope and determination,
Danny, Mia, Patri, Luca, Alice, Fatima and the whole Avaaz team

Yes, I recognized the joke but illegal Chinese have been a problem a lot longer than illegal Mexicans and South Americans. There just aren't as many of them.

Well, you can't really see much when you go on packaged tour. You have an guide, a set route the bus travels, and scheduled stops so you can spend your money in tourist traps. These tours are carefully planned out and orchestrated to bypass the "uglier" parts of towns or countries. Sure, the US has space.... if you do not think we need for farms or forest, then I suppose we could pack in a few million more. Then there is the desert, certainly more can be fit there... but, it is not just the matter of having a meter or so to put another person.... there are other obligations that go along with accepting more people. I guess the question is.... how many of these people do you currently have living in your home? How many are you willing to personally sponsor... provide for all their needs for the rest of their lives and any children then may have, and their children, and so forth? Are you willing to obligate your children and grandchildren to the well being of these folks? And then there is.... how much of your freedom are you willing to give up? Will you accept their laws they bring with them?

Sadly leftist are willing to give up their freedoms and accept foreign laws that are at odds with our Constitution, (of course rarely or never on an individual level), but beyond that, they insist that their neighbors give up their freedoms and bend to foreign laws AND try to shame others to help on an individual level.

Then there is the increase in crime especially against women

Muslim immigration is leading to brutality against women in the US
