I've said it many times, the only way to "reboot" our democracy will have to begin at the local level, spread to the State level and finally ( or simultaneously ) the Federal government. We need "gentleman farmers", wielders, grocery baggers, homemakers and other non lawyer, non political, and non big business types running our Government. Even with the Government chock full of lawyers, each agency, branch of Government, have lawyers working for them as well as other professionals, so there's no excuse NOT to elect ordinary Americans to high office. The only people truly able to represent ordinary Americans - are ordinary Americans, not the elite class, who haven't a clue and frankly, don't give a damn about us - they live in their own world.
