Well Educated Idiots

There are many who think that reducing the size of the Congressional difference is the key to restoring our Constitutional Republic, but I don't think that having more representation in Congress will do us very little good if the voters remain ignorant and uninformed.
The so called education provided in the government schools helps to create the type of voters necessary to promote and sustain the tyranny that exists in our country.
There are many who believe that all we need to do is amend the Constitution. Unfortunately, it is not the Constitution that has failed, it is due to the people's ignorance and apathy.
We the People can not be free if they continue to be irresponsible. When we elect corrupt lawyers to serve as our representatives, there are consequences. If we fail to hold our elected officials accountable no amendments will change the direction in which we are headed.
In the Declaration of Independence you will find the solution. Thomas Jefferson stated that when the government become destructive to the cause of freedom we have a duty to alter or abolish it. The only question that remains unanswered is whether or not the time has come for us to follow Jefferson's advice.

There are too many Generals and Admirals that are dependent on Government largesse and too many lower ranking personnel that want a piece, for any kind of an armed insurrection to succeed. In fact, any concerted effort to topple the Government by force, will be the final nail in the coffin of democracy. Remember, the Soviet Union was not brought down by force of arms, but by the force of an idea.....because ideas are more powerful than nuclear weapons.
I've said it many times, the only way to "reboot" our democracy will have to begin at the local level, spread to the State level and finally ( or simultaneously ) the Federal government. We need "gentleman farmers", wielders, grocery baggers, homemakers and other non lawyer, non political, and non big business types running our Government. Even with the Government chock full of lawyers, each agency, branch of Government, have lawyers working for them as well as other professionals, so there's no excuse NOT to elect ordinary Americans to high office. The only people truly able to represent ordinary Americans - are ordinary Americans, not the elite class, who haven't a clue and frankly, don't give a damn about us - they live in their own world.

The Atheistic Frankfort school's narrative, the school of thought whose "professors" have given our public school system of education, "critical theory, a theory designed to destroy the Western based Christian "rule of law," has deeply penetrated. It will take years to undo. It is like a "Gordian Knot." They are "bankrolled" by powerful International bankers who simply want to rule the world. There is only one solution for "drying up" this lying cabal of psuedo-intellectuals who are smat enough to cheat us out of money and put our nation in debt to them: get rid of the "petro-dollar" and have our congress do the printing of our currency. A "congressional dollar" is a true "federal dollar."

Sicilianthing, Have some faith in the people of America. You talk about ignorance of the constitution. I agree, but for a different reason. For the past three or four decades we have been putting all our education resources into math and science in high schools, Colleges and Universities have droped any efforts to require a serious history or government class. Both my children were business majors at Indiana University. To satisfy their history requirement, they both took a course called the history of rock 'n roll!. We should add another year of American history and/or world history and/or government. Many Americans don't know a thing about their own history or how the layers of government works.
