Two things, Glaucon.
1: We don't live in a democracy. Never have, never will. So he couldn't destroy something that isn't actually true.
2: When Trump made that comment back in 2005, he was a registered democrat, so his comment fit his party at the time. (Think Bill Clinton, who was actually impeached for lying about his perversions)
Nice try, but you've failed yet again.
There is not one democrat today, that is a model for our children.
You are right: our government is not technically a democracy. I should have said we live in a representative democracy, but to make that distinction, although it is correct, misses the point of my comment and deflects the point I was making. I was pointing out that Trump and his family and his cohorts, the plutocracy, is destroying our country and he is doing it rather rapidly.
Trump may have made that comment in 2005, but he also made it in 2016 and it was recorded in 2016.. However, I have no idea why the date matters to you or why what we call our government is relevant to my point.
Your comment, “There is not one democrat today that is a model for our children” and that is totally deranged and nutso and if you don’t know that, no one could splain it to you.
Your comment is partly true, partly wrong and partly insane.
